snefroe Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 i watched "the third man" a few days back... it's supposed to be an absolute classic, but i kinda fail to see that... the music is great though... Quote
Aredhel Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 I watched "A history of violence" yesterday!!! Very strange movie, but not that bad! Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 I watched that Narnia Film, Lion/Witch/Wardrobe since I'm lazy about writing it all out. It was pretty good. Not miraculous, but better than I thought. The actor who portrayed Peter was a big wimp all the way through though. He didn't shout properly. My fav guy in that movie was the Centaur General. He was 'teh kewl'. Quote
Khorne Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 I watched 'American History X' on dvd with a friend. That is one psycho movie X-O . Quote
Zane Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Stormbreaker. Very entertaining, though not as detailed as the book, not that true to the book and a bit short. But it still rocked. -Tilius- Quote
Djole Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Heya just found this thread :-) I just watched Tarantino's "Hostel" directed by Eli Roth. I see that Roth has learned something about making a classic horror movie since his last (and first)"Cabin Fever"... It's so good... in morbbid sense >:-) Greetings from Serbia Quote
snefroe Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 i went to see pirates 2 with a few friends... hm... i think the first is better. this one has too many plot lines, too many complicated story lines... it seems to go from one island to the other and i find it hard to keep up... Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I just saw POTC2 and I loved it !! Some scenes were hilarious (the human fruit brochette lool) and they went in more depth in the characters !! That was really interesting !! the music was as good (especially during the first Kraken attack) I especially LOVED the last 10 seconds scene AFTER the End Credits !! Just Brilliant and Hilarious !!! Now I really can't wait for the third instalment ;-) *yoda* Quote
Djole Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Today was my lucky day 'cause i find remastered version of John Carpenter's "THE FOG"... :-D And the more lucky I was when I saw the price which was 2EUR (about 3$) :-D :-D :-D A real classic horror movie from the first to last scene... OK,some things which should be scarry are funny now,but sure brings some fears of my childhood... I supposed it was the real hit then (1980)... Whoa, pirate zombies are really popular these dayz ;-) Greetings from Serbia Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I watched The Blues Brothers again. My favorite movie ever, and even after 10+ views, it still makes me smile. A true classic. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I watched Airplane 2: The Sequal on Sunday, which was supposed to be quite bad but it was actually quite good. Sure, it reussed some of the olf jokes but they were used in different situations. Sure, there was no Leslie Nielson. But, it was still funny. Not as funny as the first, but it had some great gags there so overall worthwhile. And there was nothing else on. Quote

I think I wanna see it again in cinema *wub* *wub* ... and there are not many movies I have seen twice or more often in cinema!!! BTW: Last movie I watched was About a boy (really funny) and Blade Trinity yesterday! Quote
Djole Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Heya, I watched last night BIG FISH, brilliant picture directed by Tim Burton,AGAIN... *wub* I can say as a great fan of Tim Burton that this is his best work, something that can be described as a fairytale... yes, that's what it is... WOW,what a movie absolutely beautiful, recommended to everybody's taste Greetings from Serbia Quote
Jipay Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Wolf Creek. That was weird. The movie only really starts after 1 hour. I don't recommend this movie to kids. Or well, if they have been bad, take them with you and force them to watch Quote
Hobbes Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 POTC2 Surprisingly I liked it. I was fearing the worst after reading all the negative reviews, but I could have stayed after the movie and watched POTC3 right away... Quote
Aredhel Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I watched SUPERMAN RETURNS yesterday evening!!! I do not really know what to say about that movie. The story is not that great. Lex Luther and the struggle between Superman and him was too few in a 2 1/2 hour movie. Clark Kent wasn't separated as one "own" character. There are some other things I could tell, but then I would tell too many important things of the movie ;-) -Aredhel Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I watched X-Men again. Very cool movie! Quote
Darth Doggfather Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Last movie I watched was An Inconvenient Truth. Scary. Very scary. Now we use fluorescent lightbulbs everywhere. Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 All those Divers and Aqua Raider discussions made me want to see an underwater adventure real badly :-D So I rewatched a brilliant movie: Wes Andersen's The Life Aquatic !! Its such a brilliant hommage to Cousteau !! Its fun, has a brilliant casting, is poetic and the soundtrack is just to die for !! Seu Goerge singing Bowie songs in Portuguese with only his accoustic guitar *wub* A definite MUST SEA (Pond Intended :-P ) I really wiched TLC did similar sets !! Dive ON !! *yoda* Quote
Djole Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Totall opposite to my horror-movie taste >:-) , I watched last night HOME ALONe... yeah,I'm still watching it from time to time :-D Oh what a memories this film brings to me everytime a look it... *wub* It's a Christmas miracle (little early to say that ;-) ) Greetings from Serbia PS: Did you know that Macaulay Culkin got 1.5 million bucks for his starring...? That's the greatest money wich is ever gived to a child for a play... Quote

Dive ON !! *yoda* Then you'll appreciate this. I haven't seen the movie so how realistic are these? Now that I posted here I'll say that the last movie I watched was Sky High (or at least most of it) because my little sister was watching it. It is very stupid, the plot was very predictable too, The Incredibles was alot better. Quote
mutley777 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 i saw superman returns yesterday. i realy enjoyed it. some awesome action sequences 8- Quote
ApophisV Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Elektra - Well... :-/ I haven't seen the movie so how realistic are these? "Realistic" is probably the last word describing that movie! ;-) Quote
Khorne Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I watched POTC 2 yesterday. I can't really add to all that's been said here, it's really good. I loved the movie, I could've just stayed there and watch it all over again. I can't wait for the third movie *wub* . Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I watched The Matrix (still the best of the Trilogy) for the first time (I'd seen all of it in bits before) and I really enjoyed it. It has some amazing combat, brilliant SFX for the time and it made Keanu Reaves look cool which is truly astounding. Great movie. Quote
