Legostein Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Hello! Many times I caught myself sliding two of these grill tiles against each other while thinking of something completely different. But it never came to mind to make something like this great sliding door with the grill tiles themselves. Great technique and idea for a wardrobe! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote

FinalFeature Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Thats a very good technique. Thank you for sharing it with us. The grill piece sliding is something i would never have thought of. Quote
Sandy Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 What a clever technique! Too bad the wardrobe itself isn't really minifig-scale... But instead of a wardrobe, this technique could be put to use in actual sliding doors, like the ones leading to a garden or a patio in contemporary houses. Now that I think about it, I think I've seen sliding doors made with a different technique in some MOC or real set... Quote
prateek Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I had this idea a while ago, but I couldn't make it due to my lack of bricks, so it's really cool to see it in reality Quote
Alex the Great Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Very well done, I've never thought of this before. So I might use it for some sliding obect or another, thanks. Quote
