Although it's a decent set out of the box, I couldn't help but feel like LEGO's 8059 - Seadbed Scavenger set was a little too anemic once built. Granted, it's a $15 set, but still. (I also knew right off the bat that I wanted it to have four wheels instead of the odd three.) Starting with the base of the main set, I revised and updated it using a limited selection of parts-- mostly from other Atlantis sets (and a few other odds'n'ends).

Yay! Finally my 4-wheeled dreams have become a reality

I always thought that the official set had 4 wheels until I saw the review. I was really disappointed too.

At least now there is this MOC to marvel at. I'd rather buy this for $25 than buy the set for $15

I'm not a big fan of lime, most of the dark grey is focused on the underside (not on top), and I'm not sure what "it needs pole" means.

Ah, you mean the antenna array. That was a personal choice to specifically remove it– I'm not terribly fond of it on the official models, so wasn't going to keep it on this one.

The back is a big improvement. It looks more powerful, where the Seabed Scavenger was more like a light scout vehicle. Four wheels work quite well.
