Hi mzoli, welcome in the LDD Official Sets topic.

Your entry is almost regular, you forgot to crop the image.

In the meantime I'll convert the image in a text link.

PS: I suggest you to take the screenshot as big as possible, and then downsample the image to obtain a better quality screenshot.

42000 - Grand Prix Racer - Technic

LXF File

It's not perfect, there are still a few flaws that I haven't been able to fix. Maybe somebody here can help me?

Errors:

Couldn't fit the 2 linear actuators on the side (92693) into technic brick 32018
Couldn't connect the steering gear on the back (32293) to the ball snap (6628)
The corrugated pipes 71986 are not flexible, replaced with flex rod (32199)
Couldn't fit 2 red snap screws (32054) under the shock absorbers on the front. Replaced with 43093 bush.

Pearl Dark Gray is named Titanium Metallic in LDD. You can find it here:

42000 - Grand Prix Racer - Technic

It's not perfect, there are still a few flaws that I haven't been able to fix. Maybe somebody here can help me?

Errors:

Couldn't fit the 2 linear actuators on the side (92693) into technic brick 32018

Couldn't connect the steering gear on the back (32293) to the ball snap (6628)

The corrugated pipes 71986 are not flexible, replaced with flex rod (32199)

Couldn't fit 2 red snap screws (32054) under the shock absorbers on the front. Replaced with 43093 bush.

Maybe you can find the positions of 92693 you need in this file. If not, you can easily open it with a text editor and modify the coordinates (the pyston "moves" if you modify the x-coordinate of 92696 subpart).

Unfortunately the newly created actuators cannot be rotated with the LDD hinge tool, the pyston would be disconnected, so they should be separately oriented before putting them it in the model, which is quite uncomfortable. Maybe someone knows how to fix that.

I don't remember that a file for part 92693 was uploaded in the Reference forum, but I may be wrong.

This is really useful. I was changing the position of the pieces manually by editing the lxfml file. This is much easier.

Although, I still can't figure it out. Even if I find the right angle, the piston and the actuator move together so I can't align them properly.

Any ideas?

Very good work! 42000 is really a tough one.

I have fit three linear actuators in place but can not fit two 3M pegs, even without the actuators. Because the "green" and many bricks are off-centered/twisted (cause by hinge align tool? only one of four wheels touch the ground plane.). So it is difficult to fit the "pink" bricks. Please check the lxf below.

Suggestion: Never use hinge align tool on a complex structure. Because many bricks may slightly move/twisted.

Very good work! 42000 is really a tough one.

I have fit three linear actuators in place but can not fit two 3M pegs, even without the actuators. Because the "green" and many bricks are off-centered/twisted (cause by hinge align tool? only one of four wheels touch the ground plane.). So it is difficult to fit the "pink" bricks. I know what you mean, about not using hinge align, but I had to use it to connect the suspension/steering gears in the front.

That's why only just one wheel touches the floor. Maybe I should just re-do the whole front?
