I really need some advice with this club that I'm working on. I started building the walls and such of the club and then I realized that I don't have the appropriate lego peices to build the bar. I wanted an "ice bar" kind of look, with clear legos. I thought I had some, but not enough to build the dramtic, modern bar area that I wanted. Does anyone know of any place that I can order a bunch of clear legos? Or do I have to hunt them down in sets?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

or maybe a whole bunch of These might do it

hope it helps!

Those are PERFECT! I haven't heard of Bricklink, but now I know!

Just a question, how do you pay for things on there? Do you enter a card number? Or do you have to have paypal (because, I personally, HATE paypal) Lol.

Thank you SO much for the suggestion, the blue ones are literally, perfect. Exactly what I had in mind. =) I hope I can order some, or at least, figure out how to order some.

Hmm, clear Lego bricks.......very common in the distant past but recently ?

But your idea is a good one, while in Sydney a few years back my wife and myself went to Minus5, a cocktail bar made of ice - it was dam cold, but COOL as well !

Good luck with your plans and I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

Most stores will accept Paypal, just sign up and read the stores "splash" or policies page

Yea! I know! I remember having a ton of clear blocks when I was little, but nowadays (knowing that my old and better collection has been sold at many garage sales unfortunatly) it's hard to find any good pieces. I even went down to three different stores that sold legos and I couldn't even find a clear lego on the cover of the box. It's ridiculous.

And yes, I hope it comes out how I want it in my mind. I saw an ice bar at my friend's wedding, and it was crazy-awesome. To be honest, her wedding was the inspiration for this new idea. Haha.

Oh that's a cool idea (pun intended :P). We have a few ice bars in various clubs in my town, but we also have one that's even more fancy than that.

If you want to get really clever, you might want to try replicating this bar which is made of 17,000 glass spheres!

That is truely an awesome bar! Possibly not the ideal shape that I'd want it in, however, the design on the floor gave me a great idea for later-detailing. =) Haha. I might even see if I can get clear bubble stickers to decorate the bar, to make it look like it's frozen, but with bubbling water on the inside. I saw that once at a club, and I always wondered how the water inside didn't freaze with the ice around it. Haha. Ice bars have always been an inspiration for me.

Might be a dumb question, but are you near a LEGO store? (I see you are from the US, as am I.)

They have the "Pick-A-Brick" wall and you can prolly pick clear bricks off that. (They have them at mine.)
