I don't think it's just Rex they want, they are just happy that he is included in a another set. AS well as it probably cheaper (parts to price ratio) to get him in a smaller set and last but not least with a new load of Rex's in a cheap set, prices might decline a bit on bricklink making it more interesting for people to buy the figure from there. (Of course not so at home in current Minifigure prices of Bricklink so could be mistaken) For me, I'm a collector so I want the set it comes with as well, that's why I wouldn't buy loose minifigures of Bricklink so rapidly. Lord Embo Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) The British prices are probably on brickipedia. Some are, like the T6 and the V-Wing, but I really need to know the others so I know how much money to save up. Lord Embo Edited October 28, 2010 by Lord Embo Quote

Walter Kovacs Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 There is a converter website (I forget the name) Where you can change money from another currecy to GBP. Except that LEGO prices are not necessarily a direct conversion when going between regions. You know what the prices are in American dollars, right? Can you do a little legwork, and see what similarly priced sets from the past few years have gone for in GBP? For instance, Battle of NAboo is $30. What did the Republic Swamp Speeder, which is also a $30 set, sell for in GBP? That should be a pretty good go-by. Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) There is a converter website (I forget the name) Where you can change money from another currecy to GBP. TLG often does not follow exchange rates, so using a currency converter isn't very accurate. Some are, like the T6 and the V-Wing, but I really need to know the others so I know how much money to save up. I suggest that you use those prices against recent sets to see how say USD compares to GBP. Eg. if a set was $50 and £35 last year, chances are that it'll probably be similar this year. You beat me, Walter! Edited October 27, 2010 by ADHO15 Quote

Lord Embo Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the information. My wallet best be prepared. Anywho, back on topic. I'm glad lego is making a new Luminara, too bad Quinlan Vos isn't going to be released though. This wave is looking good. I wonder when we'll know about next year's Summer sets? ADHO15 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) I've done it myself. LEGO conversions from USD to GBP/EUR (in one case): 7868 Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter SE Price: €39.99 EUR / $39.99 USD / £34.99 GBP 7869 Battle For Geonosis SE Price: €36.99 EUR / $29.99 USD / £29.99 GBP 7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack Price: €14,99 EUR / $10.99 USD / £9.99 GBP 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack Price: €14,99 EUR / $10.99 USD / £9.99 GBP 7915 Imperial V-Wing Star Fighter Price: €26,99 EUR / $24.99 USD / £24.99 GBP 7929 The Battle Of Naboo Price: €29,99 EUR / $29.99 USD / £29.99 GBP 7930 Bounty Hunter Gunship Price: €49,99 EUR / $49.99 USD / £44.99 GBP 7931 T6 Jedi Shuttle Price: €69,99 EUR / $79.99 USD / £79.99 GBP With some sets being lower in GBP price than USD and some being the same, it's hard to predict what the final prices will be. Some of his list does sound exciting, though Master Windu's was so fake! Lord Embo It was obvious MasterWindu's was fake for many reasons. 1. They were his wishlist. Other reasons were too many figures, too many characters with the same gear in one set and the fact that he never said which Dutch forum leading me to believe he lied about the forum. Also the fact that Holland get their sets after America Ireland or Britain and the countries that get their sets first are France and Italy not Holland. I firmly believe Poza's list as there are no idiotic things thrown in like with MasterWindu's list. Quote
