-zenn Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 (edited) I finally found my childhood lego's again, they were hidden somewhere in my garage. So many wonderfull parts. And I really wanted to use that trike piece, so after a lot of tinkering around here's the result. A neo classic space archangel hoverbike inspired by 'Wing Commander', 'Lost In Space', 'T.Oechsner' and 'legoloverman'. Still have to come up with a complementary ll-number though. hewkii9 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 This is really cute! I like the metal detector piece you put on the bow. Quote
Blackicep8ntball Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Nice moc, -zenn - I'm a huge fan of classic and neo-classic space , and this would fit right in. You did a nice job throwing all those details and greebles into such a small build. Nice, clever, use of that metal detector part too. Keep the neo-classics coming! Quote
Fires-storm Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 (edited) Oh heck yes, this just made my day! I love your hover bike builds, and this one is just beautiful! the trike body is perfectly integrated, and the use of that metal detector is simply brilliant! Well done mate, and keep bricking for sure! P.S, you just inspired me to try to update my scorpion hover bike design Edited August 26, 2010 by Fires-storm Quote

Legostein Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Hello! A great addition to the neo-classic space theme. It features many unconventional connections providing a greebly look to the boverbike. Very nice! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
lsgc Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Yeah, great use of old parts. No one has seemed to mention the great use of the magnetic housing piece, at the front. Especially getting the lever stems to attach to it. Inspired! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Very nicely done -zenn! I love the greebles and details you put in, great use of the blue tri-bike piece too. Seeing this somehow reminds me of the Mandalorian speeder bike. Quote
-zenn Posted August 28, 2010 Author Posted August 28, 2010 Yeah, great use of old parts. No one has seemed to mention the great use of the magnetic housing piece, at the front. Especially getting the lever stems to attach to it. Inspired! Thanks. When I attached the piece it looked somewhat simple, it needed something extra. While fiddeling around with pieces, the lever coincidentally got stuck in the magnetic housing. Quote
