efferman Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 damn, the vid is not available in germany holy moly, the full size thing from john deere is a really ugly thing. The small thing is a really good and authentic duplicate Quote
Jurgen Krooshoop Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 He certainly did a good job replicating the looks of the original machine. Quote
Zerobricks Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 The 4 cylinders operating the blade are an awesome idea! He sure made a good model! Quote
paul_delahaye Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 It's amazing how small the blade is on the real thing compared to the size of the dozer! Quote
grepin Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Very nice! I'm also wondering why the real thing has such a small blade for its size. Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 This is an awesome build! I never knew John Deere built anything like this. Interesting contraption. I'd be interested to how the PF and pneumatics are tied together. Like the music too, btw. Quote
Clement Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Impressive model! As i read thanks to my friend google, it is something between a crawler dozer and a grader. Read more here : http://www.deere.com/en_US/cfd/construction/deere_const/newsroom/2008/080312_764_hsd.html (I am not an expert in construction jobs and don't know if this machine is really revulotionary and if it shows good results though). phool Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 (edited) I haven't had a chance to check out the video but this MOC really captures the look of the machine perfectly And the location of the PF receivers really integrates them well. Edited September 6, 2010 by phool Quote
grohl Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Beatiful MOC, I also did not have an idea that something like this machine really exists. Quote
