Johann and Walter's final faceoff. They circle the room, eyes and wands never off the other. Suddenly; "CRUCIO!" "PROTEGO!"

The curse rebounds at its caster's chest form Walter's Shield, Johann summons a shield as well, it bounces towards Walter's feet, he casts another Shield Charm, it again flies at Johann's chest, he again blocks it as well, finally the spell that was once a Cruciatus Curse dissapates, both duelists fire at spell at the other's heart. They bounce off of eachother and rebound upoon their caster! The 2 enemies both slump to the ground to be found hours later, both still seething at eachother, their quarrel not be ended in a handshake.

TIE!

Although I've got to say, if Johann didn't have Crucio, Walter would've won. Good duel, both of you.

Well, at least it wasn't a loss. That's progress, right? I've got to start picking on people who aren't higher levelled than me. :sceptic: Trying to dodge all these Crucios is getting tough.

Thanks for adjudicating, CMP.

By the way, has anyone heard from Pedro recently?

Two Adepts battle each other as Hufflepuff Okay Turkoglu takes on Slytherin Johann Peterschmut with both seeking to move closer toward becoming a Magus. Okay starts the duel with a spell directed towards his opponent's body that the Slytherin deflects with a Protego. The Hufflepuff continues to be on the offensive, casting a high-arching spell which Johann fails to anticipate and hits him in the head. With his rival down and dizzied, the Turk seizes the opportunity and unleashes a powerful Stupefy that stuns the Slytherin. Summoning his depleting strength, Johann manages to disarm Okay on the ensuing sequence with an Expelliarmus. The Hufflepuff quickly recovers his wand and does the same to Johann, sending his opponent's stick flying off the ground.

Okay grabs a significant lead after the first round. Will Johann bounce back from a dismal initial performance, or will Okay continue his onslaught in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready.
