Admiral Ron Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 ROUND 1 Walter Kovaks Okay Turkoglu Health: 5 Health: 5 low- 0 Stupefy!- 1 Crucio!- 1 low- 0 low- 0 high- 1 high- 0 Expelliarmus!- 0 med- 0 low - 1 Health: 2 Health: 4 Walter was on his way to class, when Okay jumps out from behind a suit of armor with a cry of 'Stupefy!', knocking Walter to the ground. Walter jumps up and hits Okay with a Cruciatus, causing him to writhe on the ground in pain. Walter tries to hit him while he was down, but a ghost floated by and deformed his vision, allowing Okay to hit him with a spell to the head, causing his face to turn green. In his rage, Walter tries to hit Okay in the head, but Okay saw it coming, and disarmed him. Feeling victorious, Okay follows up with a shot to the feet, causing them to do a tapdance. Tough luck Walter, but you may come through yet, send DS's when ready.

This causes Walter to fall to the ground, knocked out. WINNER: Okay Turkoglu! Good duel you two! Update your profiles accordingly!

Thanks for granting me this quick and (almost) painless completion of my training, Walter! Now I can go out and hunt the Dark Lord and any of his followers down! Thanks for adjudicating again, AR. I think I'll add Sectumsempra to my inventory. It's an evil spell, but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. I'll go for one of the Natural Talents next...you volunteering? Sure... Despite knowing it's a lost cause already, Ollivander puts up a gallant effort, beginning the decisive round with a lightning-quick Expelliarmus that knocks Carlos' wand to the floor, but the Death Eater manages to recover his wand with ease and retaliates with a powerful Cruciatus Curse that stuns the Magus. The Slytherin finally has had enough, and puts the final nail in the coffin with a head shot that knocks Ollivander unconscious. Carlos, the merciless Slytherin Death-Eater, flies away looking for other duelist to terrorize. Winner: Carlos Peerce! Congratulations for the nth time CMP! Wanting to get back on his winning ways, Ollivander begins the duel with a quick spell that catches the Hufflepuff off-guard and hits him on the torso. Frankfurt immediately recovers and unleashes a Stupefy that overpowers his opponent's Sectumpsempra, sending the Gryffindor sprawling to the floor. The Hufflepuff then attempts to disarm his opponent, but the grounded Ollivander counters with the same spell as both Expelliarmus cancel out each other. Frankfurt continues to be the aggressor, casting back-to-back low sweeping spells that were adeptly countered by Ollivander with a pair of shield charm and his signature Labrador Patronum. Both duelists have shown tremendous dueling skills as we end the opening round tied. Who shall come up with the lead-grabbing attack in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready.

Fabray opens with her cruciatus curse but Johann is prepared and shields himself from it. Frustrated she disarms him but he dives for his wand and casts a spell from the floor, blasting through her defenses. Peterschmut regains his footing and casts his own crusciatus curse at Fabray. She squirms for a while and gets to her feet but Johann disarms her with a flick of his wand. Send for round 2 when ready.

He hits her with mid-level spell that sends her sliding across the dueling platform. As Fabray skids to a stop, Peterschmut unleashes a cruciatus curse. Diana struggles free from it and retaliates in kind. Her opponent recovers and attempts a shield charm but it is her turn to disarm him. Send for round 3 when ready. If you've got some felix, KDM, the time to take it is now.
