Arigomi Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Does anyone know why Creator sets are packaged in thicker cardboard boxes than other themes? Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I'm not sure wait you are trying to convey-does it matter really? \ Creator sets have more pieces, which I think would be the reason. Quote
Arigomi Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 I just thought it was strange that they would use more expensive cardboard for the cheaper sets. Quote
Aanchir Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I just thought it was strange that they would use more expensive cardboard for the cheaper sets. Well, if they used more expensive cardboard for more expensive sets, they'd have to drive the price up even further. One possibility is that Creator sets, having directions for multiple models, will usually have parts left over. Perhaps they wanted a more resilient place for buyers to store their extra pieces? Not sure how much sense that would make from a marketing perspective (they're not advertising it or anything, so many buyers might not even notice), but from a personal perspective it's how I would prefer it done.
