What's your latest acquisition?

I managed to get my hands on 7091 Knights' Catapult Defense and two additional 5615 The Knight, all new and unopened. Fantasy Castle sets aren't that easy to find at a decent price in unopened state nowadays, so I'm quite pleased whenever I manage to do so.

Managed to get a Forestmen's Hideout from eBay w/instructions for around £15. About three missing pieces, but easily rectified with BL. Also have a Camouflaged Outpost being shipped from Austria at the moment for around £38 w/shipping + insurance, also from BL.

Very excited to start building up a vintage collection.

I managed to find 7948 Outpost Attack and 7950 Knight's Showdown on clearance.

Picked up 7037 Tower Raid. I'm delighted with it overall and consider it to be one of the better fantasy era sets. The tower could have been a little more substantial but the siege tower is excellent and is probably the best lego siege tower.

I finally sorted through last month's pig purchases. Once I add the upcoming goats and chickens, I can build one helluva farm. :)

And I added some more forestmen to the pile.

So YOU are the guy who has been buying up all of the Forestmen and farm animals on BL-I have been trying to get some of those for ages and no one has them in stock!

My recent purchases have been small-8 Crossbowmen for my Dragon Knights force, 8 Musketeers for my Lion Knights, and 5 more swordsmen for my Dragon knights. Plus, I finally got my hands on those Troll warrior breastplates, so now I can build up a good heavy Orc warrior squad.

Today I got a CMF highlander ( The sword is awesome! ) and a Kingdoms Prison Carriage Rescue (which is quite nice for building generic lion knight/dragon knight armies). And the weird part is that I got them at Barnes & Noble.

Just got a hungarian horntail for 10 Eu. I am very happy about it, I've been wanting one for ages.

Also I got 2 cheap trollships, sold ships and crews seperately and kept the dragons, which I thereby got for free.

I got around to cleaning a group of figs I got in eBay a couple months ago. I used a toothbrush and dish soap, and they really cleaned up nicely.

I'm pretty sure the female is the "reissue" from earlier this decade (er, last decade!). Also the CMF forest man in the back there. But the other guys look older and even have a solid stud on top of the head (whereas BL says its hollow - mistake?) I was happy with the accessories too, especially the cool shields.

The female is pretty easy to identify as the reissue figure is from China. So if it has that paint mark on the neck then it's original, if it doesn't then it's the reissue.

I love that set. I remember getting it and opening it when it first came out. I always loved the Wolfpack. I may have to build them up a bit.
