What's your latest acquisition?

I just got Shelob Attacks and Mines of Moria from the Lego store. I did it because they weren't out locally and to get the Hulk mini fig. I just saw walmart had numerous Pirates and Harry Potter sets on sale so I might be getting a few of those as well.

I just bought orc forge and gandalf so it would be about 50 dollars worth and the free hulk and poster... Hopefully they run out of posters and send me a chrome TC-14..

Along with a ton of other stuff, I got the Shelob Attacks set and the Gandalf Arrives sets. I'm gonna build them tomorrow.

Shelob and Uruk-hai last week, Helms Deep on Wednesday (had to pay the crazy TRU tax on that one, I just couldn't wait anymore) and found Gandalph at Wal-Mart today.

I realize how fortunate we are in the states (I'm in Texas) to be getting the LOTR stuff first. The wait was already killing me.

I bought a 6074 Black Falcon's Fortress on eBay.

Because I didn't read the small print I didn't realise that it was a glued Black Falcon's fortress... (don't snigger)

It's got a broken hinge, it's badly built around the back of the roof, it's dirty but not too yellowed... (don't snigger)

It looks like superglue, I can dissolve superglue with acetone and stuff the bricks through a peroxide bath to clean them up. Except acetone will also dissolves the ABS in Lego bricks... (don't snigger)

Essentially it's a worthless lump of plastic... (don't snigger)

Caveat Emptor.

Unfortunately i sold off all my lego over a year ago and now i want to come back. I bought two of the helm's deep lotr castles and love the parts, i am going to buy at least one more. I cant believe the prices of the kingdoms sets now, i really want my kings castle siege back but not at reseller prices.

lego vladeks castle 8877 for 31euros

and 7946,7947,7948,7949,7950,7187,7188,6918,7189,7955,7955 all NEW and MISB( allmost all kingdoms sets) for 164euro!!

Those are some great purchases! That is a really great price on those torsos and the complete Kingdoms line for that price! I bought everything when it came out so no great deals for me.

I just got on June the 3rd 2x 9471 uruk-hai army, hulk's helicarrier breakout 6868 and 9473 mines of moria! It was a good birthday! So pumped I built all the LOTR that day.

9472 Attack on Weathertop. I didn't really want to buy from TRU because of the stinking TRU tax. Ireallywantd a LotR set and didn't want to wait for it from S@H.

I have recently acquired 9471 Uruk-hai Army x2, an Evil Knight , an ebay lot with 1547 Black Knight's Boat, 1624 King's Archer, 1877 Crusader's Cart, and 1596 Ghostly Hideout along with 2 space kits and 4 city minifigures. Oh, and 9474 The Battle of Helm's deep and a Black Knight minifig.
