JoeMI6 Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Here is a Halo Battle scene I have created. I imagine it is placed on the ruins of some place on Earth. I feel this is another of my best lego works to date. The scene overview Some Marines take cover... ....Some fight. Master Chief zooms in on a Ghost to save the day. Sergeant Johnson makes a brave move. Cobalt sprints past an unshielded Jackal Whilst a Grunt is held at gunpoint. Skeletons of fallen comrades lay across the battlefield. Will the humans break through the Covenant defences? Or will Humanity be left to burn? Gallery when Moderated Finish the Fight-2007. Hope you guys like it. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Very nice, I love the cobalt figure, although I'd lvoe to see the marines with a bit more of a uniformed look (edit- like mine here http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ArcTroop...niFigs/halo.jpg ) Quote
Kahgarak Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Nice Ghost and Master Chief, although i don't like the Jackal design.Oh well, there is almost no other way to make a correct minifig-scale Jackal. Great job. Quote
JoeMI6 Posted July 30, 2006 Author Posted July 30, 2006 Thanks for your comments guys. I took Ghost inspiration from a couple of models I saw on the net. The energy sword and Cobalt fig were both custom made for me by my great friend Lord Thrawn. I have also recently accquired a new custom MC helmet, so look out for a new MOC starring that soon! Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Looking forward to seeing your new model Joe! I've got a few of these Elites made by me for me this time. You'll see them in a Halo MoC I made in the past couple of days. And the energy sword was an attempt to be original. I haven't found anyone who's done the same elsewhere. *sweet* Thanks, Beagle. Sir Dillon Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 I've never played Halo before, but this is a nice scene. I like the look of the red guy with the brick built head. :-) Quote
oo7 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 It's a cool battle but it's unlikely the dead soldiers flesh would rot away that fast, but what's the blue thing the grunt is holding? Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Looks like a Plasma 'nade to me. They're so small it's not worth putting any more effort than a blue/trans-blue stud in a character's hand. Quote
JoeMI6 Posted August 1, 2006 Author Posted August 1, 2006 It's a cool battle but it's unlikely the dead soldiers flesh would rot away that fast, but what's the blue thing the grunt is holding? Yeah, it is a plasma grenade. Also, who's to say that the Flood haven't come along and done that to the dead soldiers? ;-) I throughly recommend you buy a cheap copy of Halo and play it to the death Dillon. One amazing game. You can get the PC version really cheap off Amazon. Quote
