Oh yeah, I meant to put Rizzo on there, can’t believe I forgot. I do think ‘Marley & Marley’ would be better than the Ghosts of Past and Yet-to-Come though. Those two just don’t really fit the muppets vibe to me, and past is frankly kinda creepy. Whereas the Marley brother could just recolor the existing Statler and Waldorf heads and have their own catchy song in the movie.

I see your logic, I guess I’m thinking more about completeness as we only get one shot with the characters. Personally I’d also like a skate party penguin, and the no-cheeses-for-us-meeses mouse 😂

But there are also regular characters missing from the first CMF like Scooter, Sam Eagle, Pepe the prawn.

I wonder if they could make like an Advent Calendar with new moulds and such

A regular Advent Calendar would provide mini builds and a display for the minifigures

How many actual minifigs can they fit in an Advent calendar? 4? 6?

I'd like for the rest of the pieces to be actual side builds for characters, but not brick-builds for the characters themselves.

Jetsons would be great.

But Tom and Jerry would be even cooler to get (probably the most well known characters created by Hannah and Barbera)

And then of course you have a few lesser known Hannah-Barbera characters... (anyone else remember The Snorks?)

I mean, I think you could juuuuust about squeak it with the three Cratchetts, Scrooge, Gonzo & Rizzo … but I’m not sure how good 18 side builds would be. Deffo think it’d work best as a CMF or a spefcific set.

Yeah - not that Lego takes any notice of the need to ever complete a line up, of course! 
Scooter, Sam, Rizzo, Pepe, Lew Zealand, Zoot, Dr Teeth & Floyd could be the basis for a second ‘normal’ series, reusing other main characters as variants. We can dream.

I wouldn't mind if they did series based off the themes of each year.

So like 1988 would have a mix of Futuron, Forestmen, etc.

I was mostly kidding about the goat (see what I did there?). Peacock is a good choice. I'd also like to see lion, frog, horse and/or zebra, maybe Chinese dragon (with the whiskers)...

A snake costume would be funny with a unique "armless" torso and a facial expression suggesting that the minifig is just discovering the downsides of an armless costume.

Snake will happen at the end of this year with the Chinese New Year Sets

 

It's bound to be.............. interesting, to say the least. I bet it will be the most jarring animal costume to date

Correct because 2025 will be year of the Snake

Then we'll have

2026 - Horse

2027 - Sheep

2028 - Monkey

2029 - Rooster 

2030 - Dog

And then we circle back to Pig for 2031

Out of those remaining ones, probably only the Horse wont be a new mask mold

I still would like a proper tiger costume…preferably one that I don’t have to piece together 

and a tree frog, brachiosaurus, pteranodon, cow, mouse, kangaroo, platypus and saber tooth tiger would be great as well!
