I suppose it's possible. I'd fully support a nun minifigure, though I imagine TLG would cook up some fairly weak story about the thematic differences between a nun minifigure and a minifigure of child in an imp costume, and why one was doable, but not the other.

I'd say the differences are significant enough.

It's all in how they frame it. Call her Good Samaritan.

That implies she's from Samaria. And that she's good. That stifles creativity. She could be an Evil Hungarian Nun, or something.

A religious minifigure should be doable if they come up with some story about it. If religious and political figures are not allowed then why was Abraham Lincoln a minifigure for TLM series?

He's not a political figure, he's a historical one.

So maybe some type of Mother Teresa could work? Maybe not, she was too recent.

That is a religious name as well

I know. :cry_sad: I've been thwarted by LEGO's insufferable political correctness. I can't see a way around this stricture against religious minifigures.

I guess I could make my own by heresying some Shadow Guards.

I get that Abe Lincoln is a historical figure, but he represents such an important role in political history. Mother Teresa would definitely be too recent. Only thing i can imagine is some kind of fictional religious character, though it sounds strange.

A nun figure should be no problem - 'Sound of Music costume girl' ;)

I just thought about the Singing Nun who recorded an album in the 70s i believe. she could be a possibility.

I forgot to share this, it's kinda important.

CMFs next year will go up in price in Europe so they'll be 3.99 €. Don't know if it affects the US yet.

What????

Is this an August Fools' joke?

They just closed the MMO

What is the extra money for?

Series 15 and 16 cost 2.99 € in Germany. If the 2017 series are raised to 3.99 €, this would equate to exactly 4.50 US Dollars at the current exchange rate... Right now your price over there in the States is 3.99, right? So maybe it will only be a raise of 50 cents for you

I'm screwed if these go up again in the US. The increase from $3 to $4 put a squeeze on my purchases of non-cmf lego. If it goes up again, I can't justify these over sets anymore.

Hey they have to make up for their losses on the terrible Hoth set somehow!

I think if they raise the price I'll have to be more selective in which figs I pick up and instead of getting 2-3 of the ones I like most scale it back to 1-2. Hopefully this is offset somewhat by more sets like the Park set with all the figs.
