-R8- Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 So adorable! This guy just looks perfect in LEGO. Really fantastic integration of the mechanisms without interfering with the overall appearance. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Great job on this build 'Cpusher' Ain't he cute? Excellent work on the motor configuration Quote
bord4kop Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Great build! There 's plenty room inside for more functions Good job! Quote
Arfman Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 EPIC! Please post updates when it's finished (the programming I mean)! Awesome! Quote
Cpusher Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 Rebuilt wall-E's head from scratch today. The PF m motor was not precise enough for spinning the head. So i fitted a NXT motor for the function instead. I also today, discovered HItechnics new motorblock PID http://www.hitechnic.com/downloadnew.php?category=13 So now wall-E's head can be aligned with the body no matter what startpoint it has. Perfect:) I'll will post a video tomorrow of some of thenfirst programming. Quote
Delta 38 Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 video of basic movement: Oh wow, that's great! Nice how Wall-E can show emotions with his eyes, and the movement is quite realistic. It also looks like the movie version. Quote
horizon Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 That's brilliant build & done. Twenty Five Thumbs up at least. Quote
