Waaltje Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 this is amazing! Love the way you made a minifig into hammond! Quote
Skipper Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) Very very cool. The sheer amount of vegetation is amazing. It's been a while since I read the books so I don't recognize any scenes/places , but my favorite is the Research Institution. I love how with the landscape on top you can only see a few hints in the window and landing pad that there's something artificial underneath. Great work ! P.S. You should deeplink some pics, it's easier for lazy people like me to see them , Edited August 12, 2011 by Skipper Quote
Aether Fox Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) The Jurassic Park movies are probably my favorite movies of all time! I think you did an outstanding job on creating the scenes from the movies, so keep up the great work! ...I kinda wish I had some of those MOCs...I would play with them for ages! Mikeosaurus Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Wow, that's awesome! I really like how you did the long grass scene and the main gate. The minifigs are also well done. Quote
Abu Dun Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Stunning work. I especially like how you managed to catch the essence of several scenes, such as the raptors hunting in the high gras, the rex trying to get into the cave or Muldoon being his badass self The amount of detail is breathtaking and even if someone hasn't seen any of the movies, those renditions may be enough to give them a try. Also, Yoda insulting the Spino is a very funny touch and a nice shoutout to those that know who originally created the dinos Quote
goldfish Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I have only just seen this, and I must say I think it's one of the best things I have seen. Brilliant work! Quote
22kane Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Really nice work. I could easily pick out many of the scenes. I really like your work, great job! Quote
The Blue Brick Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I love all the vegetation. The scenes are also fantastic as others have already said. Quote
RunnersDad Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 You did a great job, I really enjoyed looking at your build! Quote
green dewback Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 (edited) Im a JP fan too. Sadly the 4th movie have been delayed for almost a decade. Impressive amount of vegetation in your MOC. Edited August 27, 2011 by green dewback Quote
Rune Haako Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Those are awesome MOCs, it makes me want Lego to make Jurassic Park sets even more. Quote
Vindicare Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Now your MOCs can have some good looking dinos in it to beef up those already great looking MOCs. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 (edited) Those are awesome MOCs, it makes me want Lego to make Jurassic Park sets even more. As a matter of fact they actually did, as a subtheme of Studios (so the sets had a "behind the scenes" perspective, with camera crews and such). There were two Jurassic Park III sets, and the flagship set for the whole Studios theme was the LEGO Studios LEGO & Steven Spielberg Moviemaker Set which clearly depicted the filming of a scene from the latter part of second movie (oddly, this set didn't use any of the official Jurassic Park names or logos, despite the fact that it did use Steven Spielberg's name and TLG did use an official Jurassic Park license on the other two sets, which came out the following year). (So this topic should probably go in the Licensed forum, actually...) Edited December 17, 2011 by Blondie-Wan Quote
Rune Haako Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Movie accurate ones I mean and from all the films. Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Indeed the vegetation is great, and that fallen tree is a nice touch! Quote
Hive Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Wow, impressive stuff. And very space-consuming! One of the dinos look like a Xenomorph, I like that. Quote
