Endgame Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Hooray, round run in less than an hour! I'm getting faster at this. I hope 48 was a decent enough prep for you - if you ever need me to run a round, just ask. I can usually bang out rounds in less than 20 minutes now, after 10 quests. Quote
Flipz Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Be right there, Kint, making one last-minute purchase and doing a bit of roleplaying to boot. Quote
Zepher Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 That was a nice chunk of text in the Marketplace, Flipz. Not too long, only ruminating on a few things, but still great character work. A heads up to all: I will be on vacation from this Friday to next Sunday. I have been assured there will be wi-fi, but as everyone knows, we can't always be certain about those things. BUT what will most likely happen is that I will be MIA Friday/Saturday for transit purposes. So, just a heads up. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Kintober- I'll check in soon, I just need to finish up transactions with palathadric. Quote
Palathadric Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Endgame, how long are you looking at #105 being? As long as #48? Quote
Endgame Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Nope. 8 major battles to be fought - all I know is it won't be as lengthy as 48. It's taking some cues from 36 in terms of structure for some of it. Quote
swils Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 "Only enemies that drop gold can be stolen from." they said. "Surely that will prevent people [like Guts] from hauling in huge sums of cash!" they said. Quote

Flipz Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Sorry, 104-ers, looks like I probably won't be able to run the Round until the morning. Quote
StickFig Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Hoke lends his Medal of Glory to Lind Whisperer. If anyone wants to lend Matthias a MoG.... Lind's Personal Deck:... Lind's New Deck:... Wow, this has a lot of potential roleplay value. And you can always shuffle cards between decks (without changing their actual attributes, i.e. WP) to keep your highest-WP deck as "Lind's Personal Deck," and roleplay it as his deck changing over time based on his experiences, growth, etc. I like it! Quote
Flipz Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 If anyone wants to lend Matthias a MoG.... I thought that had happened, only for Zeph's plot-relevant Artifact to get in the way. Also: Damn it. I knew something was off about that battle when I first posted it. Oh, well, hopefully at least someone will appreciate the Artifact I dropped--just as a reminder, everything in that battle was stolen from somewhere else in Heroica. Quote
StickFig Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I thought that had happened, only for Zeph's plot-relevant Artifact to get in the way. Boooo plot-relevancy! Hooray min-maxing! And also hooray dragon scales! But no, Matthias was handed a Quickdraw Quiver which he will not be quick to give up... (thanks Masked!) Quote
Masked Builder Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 But no, Matthias was handed a Quickdraw Quiver which he will not be quick to give up... (thanks Masked!) Don't make me take it back! Quote
UsernameMDM Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 If anyone wants to lend Matthias a MoG.... Just so he won't die too much when an enemy sneezes. In 3 fights he should be to level 10 at which point I would like Hoke to use it since I am no longer concerned about getting to level 40 before becoming a Dragoon. Quote
Sandy Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Phew! The problem with our internet modem wasn't as bad as I first thought it was, so I'm back sooner than anticipated. I'll post the conclusion to Quest#93 very soon! Quote
Flare Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 If anyone wants to lend Matthias a MoG.... Well I'd be willing to, actually. I'm going to be taking a hiatus from Eurobricks after I finish Quest #95. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 For those concerned and interested. Quest 96 WILL get finished at some point. Just not now. I'll hammer out the details with Sandy when the time comes. Quote
Zepher Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Sorry 102! I am starting my vacation a day early with a day in the city and a concert (Flume, so anyone who is in to that sort of thing can be jealous, I guess?). Anyway, I should hopefully have time to update tomorrow before I disappear into the lovely world of planes trains and automobiles, but if not, thank you for your patience. Quote
Actaeon Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Sorry, 104-ers, looks like I probably won't be able to run the Round until the morning. That probably took a long time! Thanks for an awesome first battle! I think it went well Quote

Palathadric Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I'm going to be taking a hiatus from Eurobricks after I finish Quest #95. You can't do that! You owe me a quest. Shucks, mate, hope it won't be too long. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 (edited) Finally starting work on my battle guide. The basic classes should be done soon. I'll post them in a spoiler so as to not wall-of-text everyone. Edited July 18, 2014 by Bricksandparts Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Finally starting work on my battle guide. The basic classes should be done soon. I'll post them in a spoiler so as to not wall-of-text everyone. Sounds interesting - I'll look forward to it! Quote
Flare Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 You can't do that! You owe me a quest. Shucks, mate, hope it won't be too long. It'll be a minimum of three weeks, since I'm flying and it might not be much longer but only time will tell Quote
Zepher Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Sorry 102ers, I'm pooped. I hate responding in the Hall and not updating for you guys - bad form, I know - but its 3 AM here. When I wake up tomorrow you're my first priority, promise! Quote
