It's not your fault, but I was pretty shocked to see a moon elf knight. Oh well, I'll have to be more creative now.

She's supposed to be a normal elf, so you could still do a Moon Elf. It was just easier to photograph her as pale instead of using yellow pieces and digitally manipulating her ears. I also went for knight because... well, I'll let you guys see shortly.

Out of curiosity: How many of you are planning to use your second character primarily as "roleplaying character whose stats don't matter that much because I have my first character," and how many of you are planning to use your second character primarily as "stats-focused character because I want to try some new classes that my first character didn't use"? (Just assuming that everyone roughly falls into one of the two categories.)

I'll be doing some of the latter, but I definitely want to concentrate on the former.

Really, I fall into both.

I want to play someone different from Karie both stats wise, and RP wise. Annie's very much going to be more tank focused while Karie's going to be more support focused. As well, Karie's more extroverted and loud, where Annie's much more reclusive and quiet. I can't see Annie shouting "Go, Battle Sheep, Go!"

I probably won't get my second character this year, but I'm still aiming for something original.

Maybe a teenage human rogue.

Hey, Karie wasn't a teenager!

Doc is going to have a roleplaying character? :oh:

I think when it comes down to it, I enjoy roleplay a lot more than stats, though I do feel that with my second character I will be trying a little harder to build a character with decent stats, now that I have a far better grasp on the system.

Everyone's a teenager or younger so far. :look:

Well, technically, Annienal's older than her listed age, but by elvish years she's a young adult. :classic:

My second character's probably going to be more offense-based because I'm going Defense with Em. I'll probably make them more outspoken, too, for more roleplaying opportunities that Em would miss out on. So I suppose it's more the former than the latter, but I definitely want a different experience gameplay-wise too. I've got a few ideas, but unless I develop a ravenous hunger for QMing after 109, I'm going to be a ways off.

I actually checked other sources for that, as I don't speak French. Apparently "trop" makes it into "I love you too much", now that I look at it.

Fixed, thanks.

I think it's more that there is a current lack of female characters. :classic:

I counted yesterday and I think the gender ratio was somewhere around 60:15.

I'm just channeling the spirit of Olegaia's most stylish halfling. :sadnew:

Both Atramor and Miderun I focus on stats and roleplaying equally. Miderun's likelier to give up or throw a quest for some reason or other, though.

Kinto, there seems to be something wrong with the font on the continuous battle rules in your quest.

Okay... I've pointed out two font defects today, so I'm testing the fonts right now, if this doesn't come out as Times New Roman there's something very wrong with the fonts today.

Right, nothing to serious then.

Fun fact: if the heroes had chosen the Bonaparte route in 104, the battle would have dropped Calico's Sunglasses (those damned sunglasses... ), and Dragonlord would have commented on them being hers. Instead they took the sky route, so no lore for them.

Also, Kinto: I had completely forgotten the Storage Room was a thing, because it wasn't on the map.

I knew we should have taken the ship...

Using animal language to communicate with Calmcacil outside Thistlethorp's understanding...

I'm pretty sure that's racist against elves. :look:

Hahaha it's Nerwen who's racist, not Matthias - he was doing that because she was wearing Sylvania's Cowl.

I mentioned to JimBee that I thought second characters would be on the whole built on even more creative ideas given how much experience their players have acquired.

I've definitely been enjoying Miderun/Polly in the Hall, and I know I'm late to the party, but Polly's avatar (with Mr. Saunders) is awesome.

I would have given my players XP if they'd figured out and blocked any of the entrance ways. That was the puzzle of this quest. But they didn't get it. Matthias was pretty darn close if he hadn't given up.

Rats! I knew there was stuff going on there, but I couldn't figure out a way to do anything about it.

...I'm still aiming for something original. Maybe a teenage male human rogue.

Fixed that for you - and that's so weird, me too!!

J/K, I think if I ever get to character number two, I'll want to do something different than Matthias, so probably Barbarian/Knight.

Equipment: College Shield (SP: 2), College Halbred (WP: 3)

P.S. - Where did you find a "halbred"?
