It's good to remember also that by imbuing complimentary gems, you can get better multipliers than a mage could ever get with a spell. For example, a hand-cannon imbued with Fire and Ice would deal quadruple damage against beasts or plants, while the most a spell can do is double damage.

Just caught up Khorne's quest. I must say, the visuals are stunning! I'm looking forward to seeing a different party go to Dastan. I already like what seems to be the main NPC a lot, though I'm not sure why. I also like the party, and they're all very diverse and interesting so far!

Acteaon, if you have the time to burn and want to really know the story of Dastan, read 29, 30, and 31. They're the introduction to the continent that I'd say is the second most important after Uland, and one you (appear to) have a passion for.

I started on 29, actually, but my life exploded and I had very little time. Things are slowing down now, so I might do that. Thanks for the suggestion. :classic:

Okay, first battle post of the Quest is up! I'm not a very battle-orientated, mathematically-talented QM, so if any of the more experienced people here could read over the results and point out any mistakes I made, that'd be great :classic: !

You only had to do any sort of mathmatical type of thing, once, and it looks fine. :classic:

110, 105, 107, 102: some bad news. My laptop, whenever I attempt to turn it on, makes the noises of SOS in morse code and doesn't boot up. For obvious reasons, i will be unable to get online. The IT guy told me either it would be easy and cheap to fix, or incredibly expensive. I have my photos backed up (thank the gods) but the quests will be on hold. I am going home this weekend (totally different reason) so may be able to update from there, but no updates today or tomorrow. I don't imagine that it will take more than a week to fix (or at least I hope). Thank you for your patience. I can promise you that I am more frustrated than you: not only because I will miss heroica but because I need my laptop for school and netflix and pretty much my life. So thank you again for understanding, and I wish this wasn't the case.

Got it, bobby attacks from the front row and gives Vindsval his share of the loot. I will make sure your posts get made. :)

No worries, it's not too much of a problem for 110. Thanks for the update.

I think we all understand what's really important here.

Don't worry about it; we'll miss you when you're gone, but we can hold down the fort in the meantime.

Where is everyone?

Zeph's computer dies and we go 27 hours with no posts in the general discussion....

You should see the explosion of activity that'll probably happen tomorrow.

Bradford Rant, you say? Arthur Justus Regulus VII and I have a unique relationship with them.

I know. I was secretly geeking out a bit back when I first got accepted onto #103 with the finder of Pod 7.

I can't believe I didn't make the connection between Arthur's name and AJR7's, though - especially when I realize that Arthur shares a headpiece with him!

Hey all! An update: I am on my home computer now - as I said I was going home this weekend anyway to see a concert in Central Park! Exciting! So, that's the good news - I am able to post updates tonight and maybe Saturday before I head back up. I'm sure you will all understand if I still keep my plans pretty similar to what they were, however. I love Heroica, but still intend to spend my day in the city tomorrow.

As a second part of the update: My laptop chose the "expensive" problem to have. But, we know what it is. The people who are holding it hostage (fixing it) assure me it will be ready by Wednesday or Thursday. So, updates will resume more regularly whenever I get it back.

I am back from my vacation. Just give me some time to get back into gear, catch up with everything and all that.

Anyway, the Greek Islands were gorgeous, did a lot of relaxing under the sun and even went scubadiving for the first time. I deliberately kept myself from even glancing at Eurobricks, to really get into that vacation mood. And it worked! I'm refreshed, re-energized and ready to rumble again!

EDIT: And of course Photobucket is down for maintenance today, and not on any of the days I was gone...

EDIT 2: Now that Photobucket is back up, I can show you a little taste of what my trip was like.
