To get 20+ FoG battles completed in... less than a month, well, let's see.

When we went to the fields, getting through 20ish battles (I don't know if we even got there) took like 6 months. That was back when the fields were supposedly easier too.

All in all, though, at the end of the day it's the best way to level-up. Not to mention that it has a good drop rate. Nothing really special, sure, but not bad, either.

Oh definitely. I only got to Level 30 so fast because I spent a lot of time in there. Some of the drops are really special. Namyrra's Mace, for example, came from one of the Threshold Monsters which is a new equivalent to the Roaming Monsters.

Also, I don't believe anyone has ever ventured into the super difficult areas, so who knows what the drops are out there.

Yes, I know, it's not exactly made for power-gaming. But if we set up a good auto-roll, and with a QM like Flipz who can be relied upon to update regularly, I think we may be able to do some surprising things.

Interestingly, that was what my comment in the Rules was about. If heroes were allowed to band their GP together...suffice it to say, it would be very nice.

As it is, we're looking at a minimum of 23-24 battles, for both a Medal of Glory and a Decamonizer for each player, with a nearly-full party(and we're working on that last slot).

While it's up to the QM, I can't say I'd be excited about a lot of auto-rolling in the FOG, the FOG was created to provide a strategic alternative to the more role-play focused quests, not a short-cut to higher levels. :sadnew:

The Party I was on did, we were definitely not prepared party composition wise.

Just wondering, what type of camera does everyone use? I use either a borrowed Canon EOS 1100d or a bad Canon IXUS 1000hs (A good DSLR and an ok Point and shoot digital camera.)

Canon Rebel t3i. :sweet:

- A ship with black sails was seen in anchor in front of Fort Bonaparte. It seems the legendary Blackgull Bonaparte has returned to Eubric after a decade of absence.

Oooooh! :excited: I don't know how long that rumor's been up there, I only just noticed it now. Blackgull sounds interesting and ...dark for a Bonaparte.

Sandy just put it up a day or two ago

Eric sells:

  • Leather Whip: +70 Gold
  • Spiked Club: +50 Gold
  • Pitchfork of Abomination: +10 Gold

Total: +130 Gold

You only get half the value of weapons when selling them back. So a WP:5 weapon gets you 25 gold.

Fixed it now :classic: .

EDIT: Also, Pie, is that the old port of Danzig you used as background in this picture?

THIS ROUND: Tempest + Hex (Bewitching Breeze)

Tempest + Hex = Bewitching Breeze: One random hero becomes Hexed.

You might as well just give the Hexed effect to Karie now, since she's destined to be hexed every. Single. Time.

Who knows!

I think "Stabbed With Ever Color Of The Rainbow" is my new favorite special, purely because of the name, though.

Also, Masson can't equip the Paper Doll. It's an accesory, and he has his Wedding Ring, which he'll refuse to take off.

I was just re-reading the opening of 102, and man have we had a long haul. Thank you guys for sticking with me. Remember when you were just trying to get out of Eubric the first time.

...Sure.

It was hard trying to find the right angle for that picture's background. Hard enough to make me wish I could just put a generic sky back there. But the dock couldn't really just sit out there on the water like an island.

Typically with shots like this I try to get a LEGO-based background, but that angle was just terrible.

Ah, okay. I thought you choose the picture of Danzig on purpose, because it's a well-known medieval port. Heck, the photo of the wooden crane is practically on every medieval history text book they use in school here in Flanders  . That's why I recognized (plus, I visited the city last summer). But yeah, I concur, finding decent background pics at a right angle can be a pain sometimes :sceptic: .

As it turns out there aren't as many modern-day pictures of medieval-era ports as I thought, for whatever reason.

Usually I don't have as much of an issue with it, I try not to leave that much blank space, but a building on the back of that set would've worked a lot better. Oh well.

I'm kind of curious: Atramor's sitting at 34 base Defense right now. Is that the most any hero has had at once, disregarding the Reinforced effect?

You could have made microscale or mid scale buildings for the background and start taller closer to the foreground and smaller towards the background.
