UsernameMDM Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 You make it sound so enjoyable. It will be! But I like classic stuff. What can I say? Quote

Flipz Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) Hey, Doc, how did you make that tag show up on Quest 112's topic title? It would, uh...it would be really cool if we could add similar things to denote multi-topic Quests like the Dastan Trilogy, Baltarok Trilogy, and Halloween Anthology Quests. Palathadric Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I approach the Ranger at the Quest Board, having seen a glimpse of some rare metal shining in his backpack. "...I couldn't help but notice the glimmer of an Adamantite Shard in your pack..:" Somehow it sounds so classy when Docken does it. Quote

Matthias seems very small indeed as he looks from one group to the other, Chauncey to Calmcacil, Fenral to Aventine, Ruffers to Berthadhiell. Finally making up his mind, he hands the Peashooter to 'XX'. "My debt to you is paid," he says to the bombmaker, and he stands off to the side. Nuu what are you doing, that weapon is worth way more than XX was charging you for it...! D: Quote

Vash the Stampede Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 "The Voice in the Sky, Lady Annienal, can be your enemy, but it can also be a great asset. And a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Voice in the Sky: here, between you, me, the enemies, the hit points...everywhere! Yes, even between the dice and the fourth wall!" This made me laugh way more than it should have. Khorne Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Sheesh, building a decent shop or backdrop for a market is hard . I spent all afternoon yesterday going through various iterations of what was to finally become the crappy backdrop that is Azim's shop . Building the inn (to be revealed) was much easier. In fact, ALL builds but shops were easier! Quote

Zepher Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 PvP stresses me out like no one's business. Also sorry if I'm being a bit of a downer at the end of this whole thing, 102. I'll talk a little bit about it when it's all over. It's totally my fault, but I put myself in a position to love the whole quest but this last little stretch. Hopefully it isn't ruining anything. Endgame Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Still sick, and laptop kicked the bucket. Have a new one working and set up with LDD and Paint.net, but I have a migraine to sleep off and classwork to make up, questees. Updates coming later this evening. Quote

Khorne Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Having hosted some battles for Orel and having quested with Throlar for the past three quests, I think my next character will be a knight. I really like the class and I've got some great ideas for a character. Too bad I'm nowhere near the prerequisites yet . I know you've already made the rules for a second character more lenient, but perhaps a requirement in the middle ground of the current requirements could also be possible? So next to the currently two available requirements you could have a third one: having participated in 10 Quests AND having hosted 1 (or 2, whatever) Quests. It also show dedication for the game, IMO. I'm content with playing Eric and second characters are an extra reward for long-term dedication, but even with the "new" 15 Quest-rule I'm not even at the half of the requirement, even after 2 or 3 years of playing. Like I said, I do understand a second character is a cool extra and should be limited to prevent "flooding" the Hall with an influx of second characters. But still, it was just a thought I had . Flare Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I'm pretty sure that it has not been 2-3 years of consistent playing, Khorne... If you had been playing consistently for two or three years you'd be close or at the requirement... Guaranteed, pretty much. Quote
