Flipz Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I don't know if there are that many cards. There's 100 different Decamon cards in total: cards of power 1-10 in every element plus 1-10 in Ethereal. (At least, that's the last I heard from Sandy. ) I can't see that happening. I'd like it to be a bit more like actual trading cards, you buy a pack of cards for say 25 gold and you get five cards, enough to play the game but enough for the packs to be random and actually rather luck based for balance reasons. Perhaps sell a booster set for a little more to ensure you get a decent card, or force the buyer to purchase a starter pack first so that they at least get a card with a seven or higher. At least that's how I think it should go. I had an idea of how it should go, and I still like it. Quote
Emjajoas Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 If we're doing booster packs, we could run them how Pokemon cards are/were run. (3 randoms, Reverse Holo, Rare {or whatever the combination was}) Three randoms, probably low-leveled, then one thing 5-7 and one thing 8-9 or whatever the max level is. I forget. That way you're guaranteed to get a couple good things with each booster pack while leaving things partially random. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I Don't really care about the actual packs, as long as they aren't too expensive. Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I Don't really care about the actual packs, as long as they aren't too expensive. given that the tournament should be open to everyone (who is intersted) I would think there will be cards loaned to particpants with an option to buy. Flare Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Khorne, you forgot to subtract health for poison, considering the fact that Rozz Da Boss still has full health when he's poisoned... Quote
Khorne Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) Khorne, you forgot to subtract health for poison, considering the fact that Rozz Da Boss still has full health when he's poisoned... Okay, I'll check . Sandy, I like the premises of those 2 new quests. Can't wait to see the floating city! EDIT: You're right, Flare, I forgot to deduct Poison Damaga for all opponents, not just Rhozz Da Boss. I really suck at maths . Edited November 18, 2014 by Khorne Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I believe after the events of 100 she is gone for good. EDIT: I would really like to make an commentary on 102, but am swamped this week! I will talk about it at some point, pinky promise. Not that I imagine anyone is holding their breath for it. I think she's gone for good, bro... *Darth Vader voice* NOOOOO!!!!! Quote

The Legonater Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Cool, it's Dyric's old 'friend'! He was supposed to die in 65, right? It's nice to see his survival actually have an affect on things. Quote
StickFig Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 "The rumour tells of an uprising to overthrow my family altogether." Definitely this guy. Look at that monocle! Quote

Cutcobra Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 And last but certainly not least, the Littlefinger answers for the economy of Xu. That Game of Thrones reference though... ... it is a Game of Thrones reference right? Quote

Endgame Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) 105ers/115ers/111ers, my internet is being shut down in about half an hour due to the move. It'll be back Friday night, so fortunately we won't miss another night of updates for the foreseeable future - just don't expect anything Friday afternoon or the rest of tonight. CMP Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 The Storekeeper's Note, hastily scrawled, wrinkled and torn, carried even more fears like Miss Baker's. The accent carries even through writing. Impressive. Quote
Flipz Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 That's it, Fields team, use all your good rolls on the drops instead of on the battle...muhuhahahahahaha! *krak-a-thoom!* Quote
Comrade Commander Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 That's it, Fields team, use all your good rolls on the drops instead of on the battle...muhuhahahahahaha! *krak-a-thoom!* To be honest I am confused by this and the "depends on roll" for loot. Are they already determined or do they rotate? Either way, just have to duke it out.... Quote
Flipz Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 To be honest I am confused by this and the "depends on roll" for loot. Are they already determined or do they rotate? Either way, just have to duke it out.... There's a hidden array of drops options for each enemy, and when we first post the battle we roll a die for each enemy to see which item on the list is dropped. For example, a Phoenix Essence is the best option for the Canary to drop, and this Canary drops it because I rolled a '1' for it in loot determination. Similarly, if you look at the Feral Hens, you'll see that each one drops a different item because I got a different result for each one when rolling for them. Quote

I was actually thinking that the whole list of possible drops would be displayed every time, and only when the battle was over the QM would roll which drop the party is getting. Obviously you interpreted it differently. I don't know if it makes any difference, though... Quote
