Only because Arthur wants to be a Weathermage!:tongue:

Arthur closes his eyes, then snaps them open, a brief flash of light emanating from them.

"No."

"I've let fear and paranoia stop me from saving two lives, then necessity stopped me from saving two more. Not this time...this time we fight!"

Actually not planning on it. I want the book out there so someone can try the class, but I myself don't have the build for it anymore. About the only other class I could conceivably transition to would be Winged Warrior, or maybe Regulator if I was stark raving mad (my weapon build is completely wrong for it).

Hey maybe we should have a build swap thing going on for people who have similar reputations but very different builds. That way you get a chance to test out classes that you don't otherwise have a build for.

Builds are easier to adapt than you might think. Hybros was definitely not built for Chi Monk, but all I needed were some gems. I have the Metal Claw which is nice, and some SP would be good. Arthur still has a lot of scrolls and obtaining more gems would be a simple matter of de-merging them from your pole-arms. Plus he still has the ether bonus from being an original Mage. Regulators can use staves and longswords, which you still have. Not to mention that you'd be able to keep all of your currently-equipped artifacts. Arthur's new tankiness is also suited for Regulator. :classic:

Note to self: when a player's roll says "at the cost of one Ether", that means at the cost of one (1) Ether, not at the cost of 10 Ether, not at the cost of one health, not at the cost of gaining 1 Ether. In other news, 34-1 may be a lot of things, but it is NOT 35.

No, no, I'm completely awake right now while running Rounds, why ever do you ask? :innocent:

How did Benji get a hold of the Markman's Monocle? :look: And now he's selling it!

He had one of his own made in 116. Speaking of Boomingham's, I thought I gave it back to you after 77? Or did I forget? (I know I got it back from the NPC because I specifically remembered asking for those items we lent the NPCs back, and Doc had it in my stats at the end of 77.)

As everyone said, he bought it in Quest 116. I don't care if it gets sold or not, it's not the most useful item for him right now but it's worth keeping

The Saffron Cup is now updated, but unfortunately I don't have time to update the others today. It took me 1,5 hours just to update that one... At least the amount of players gets halved with each round.

The Tournament continues tomorrow, then!

Oh I wasn't accusing, I just thought it was a good Benji moment since we lost track of my Marksman Monocle.

I think Docken now has second place for the highest HP total in the game? (I'm pretty sure he holds the record for non-buffed HP, but I think Atramor beat him with an Aura combined with Inspired in 75.)

In fairness, these are very different from the adolescent sort of flings from the beginning of Heroica - these both have been gestating for years, and are certainly won.

Just wait until Boomingham gets home. He'll woo the pants off of everyone.

A proposition for the next Decamon Tournament/future games: The person who is determined (by coin flip) to go first is put at a severe disadvantage, especially when they're opponent's hand/deck is unknown. Going first A) allows the opponent to scope your cards better and faster and B) you have to take the highest chance by going first three times instead of two. Responding with a card always offers more strategy while placing a card first is pretty much sheer luck or you betting that the opponent doesn't have a certain card. Maybe someone better with numbers than I could work out the exact odds, but going first puts you at around 2/5 chance to win if your opponent has a decently varied deck.

My suggestion would be to decide by coin flip who goes first like it already is, but then let that person go last for the final turns. Like this:

Turn 1: Player A goes first

2: B

3: A

4: B

5: B

It would at least eliminate the first problem with the turn order because regardless of who goes first, by Round 4 both players have a good idea of what else might be in the opponent's hand (maybe) and the unfairness started in Round 1 would be balanced out. Thoughts?
