Making these battles is gonna be a balcning act, but I've pulled off similar stunts before. 86 was the same thing, almost, but the divide has only gotten wider.

(Granted 86 wasn't that well balanced either, but I would like to think I've learned a thing or two since then. )

If you were under the impression that the sign ups for 137 had been extended, I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking straight. Then again, that's a typical thing for me to do.

"Actually, I was meaning to talk to you about that... See, not long after I left Heroica, I remembered someone...someone who I shared a...unique connection with, someone I met as a Hero who wanted nothing to do with Heroica. The problem is, I haven't been able to find her. It's like she vanished from Eubric the moment we parted. I don't want to hold you up right now, but afterwards, if you get a chance...could you perhaps look into the realm of the dead and tell me if you find someone named Lynne?"

But Lind's quite alive! :tongue::laugh:

I mean, sure, he's going to wish he was dead in a few minutes, when Faust informs him that, no, they have already met - but that's a bit different.

Really? Really?

Not like Lind saw him previously or something?

Lind's in total blackout about the last few days - he doesn't remember the meeting at all.

I mean, I guess it's reasonable to know the monarch of a different country (his name was on the quest slip, and Moone is fairly close to Eubric) but you don't need to chalk it up to Munchkin knowledge.

I figured that, as Lind is someone who spent most of his life studying, that it wouldn't be the most unlikely scenario for him to be acquainted with the general appearances of local rulers - and the crown+the uncommon name of Faust kind of tips the balance.

Also, I found the idea of Lind expecting to be meeting with "faceless lackeys," and then meeting a King to be kind of funny.

about it, and hairtrigger, is the point, so...yeah, I'm just going to enjoy this view, over here, from behind the sheep."

Enjoying the view of a sheep's behind again?

I know there wasn't any foul play involved, but how in the name of Christ did Sorrow's Mockthril Longbow end up with Dyric?!

Sorry Kinto, I'm gearing out.

EDIT: And that means Sorrow has no gems, and can't cast spells! Shit! :enough:

Well, that was a surprisingly useful plunge through the archives. Surprisingly, Heroica Hall was more helpful in getting me information on a certain location than the 3 Quests that actually took place there.

I actually think a Necromancer that doesn't cast spells is interesting.

I'd give him my Mopagsaber, but it's a longsword so he can't use it.

I kinda like the idea of Sorrow just whacking stuff, just visualizing it. But if any actual undead are fought, I'll need elemental spells... but I have a ruby, which is good enough.

The Staff of the Supreme Necromancer damages undead.

It'll be a couple hours before I post the final battle, 129ers. I have the set built, but Fourth of July took an enormous amount of time and I'm pretty beat.:blush:

And for anyone waiting around in the Hall and not going on the Guffington quest, another, shorter one might be popping up shortly... (though it won't start for a while)
