Pyrovisionary Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) "I'd recommend the Diamond and Amethyst together in that whip, dearest, it'll balance out quite nicely." Sarge heard that wierd freedom order and chaos guy from the library recomend the two gems, and he was going to do just that for the scissors. Once he got one of them bloody diamonds of course. He wished that that witch lady , Elephaba or something like that, would come back! Sarge turns his head to the table which held Arthur, Alexis and Haldor. "Hey Alexiscism or whatever ya name is lassy, that diamond for sale? I don't really want to seperate ya from a girl's best friend , I'd give ya an alright bargain." The Legonater Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I promptly give Sarge a good whack upside the head. Can't you see they're trying to have a private conversation? Besides, if Alexis would sell anything, it'd be the Amethyst to me. I hope. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Hoke entered the Hall and found a spot by Atramor and nodded in greeting. He ordered a pint and sipped on it for awhile. "Where's your fowl? Tis strange not to see you two together." Quote
Masked Builder Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 "Theres a...problem." Haldor held the letter up so she could see it. "This letter is from Naj-Nadeline-Najde-something, whatever her name was, at the Convent, you remember her? Well, she's invited me to the theatre. What do I do, Alexis? I haven't seen hide nor hair of Jess for going on months now, she's never here, I can never find her in the city. Is she trying to tell me that I need to move on? Is it wrong for me to visit Bric'lin with this girl, so soon after my return?" The nord looked imploringly at the Elf. "You're a lass, you understand these things. You've got to help me, Alexis." Alexis sighs. "Yes I do wonder where Jess has gotten off too. It's been some time as you said. I personally, would think it rather rude if it were me. I think she's a bit young too." Sarge heard that wierd freedom order and chaos guy from the library recomend the two gems, and he was going to do just that for the scissors. Once he got one of them bloody diamonds of course. Besides, if Alexis would sell anything, it'd be the Amethyst to me. I hope. "No gems for sale from me. Sorry boys." Quote

How rude of ya to interrupt my private conversation with my daggers, perhaps you'd like to meet them, they certainly want to meet your throat! I see that you girls don't like being seperated from their best friends. You know what they say, a diamond is a girl's best friend and a knife a man's." Sarge gives the idiotic assasin 'The stare' then turns back to Alexis. " I am so sorry milady" He says, taking off his hat in respect. "I am but a humble seargeant. Forced to earn his pension in a harsh world...... Pah! What a load of bollocks, Call me Sarge." Sarge turns to Arthur "And what might you be called? You A jeweler per'aps from all them gems" Sarge licks his lips at the thought of gems, gold and riches. " Sorry if I ever robbed ya." Edited March 31, 2013 by Skyrimguy Quote

Pyrovisionary Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) Some people have no understanding of respect. I nod politely to Alexis, shake my head at Sarge, and sit back down. OOC: Was the respect thing spoken or not? It's confusing without speech marks. If so: " Respect: A feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. Yeah, No understanding. You aint done a thing for me or anything I consider worth respecting, So Why should I? Don't bloody answer that. It was retocal or whatever that word is (Rhetorical)" OOC: If not in character: Sarge quietly waits for a response. Edited March 31, 2013 by Skyrimguy Quote
The Legonater Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I never asked for your respect, not even while I lay dying in the Temple of Zoot. All I insisted was that you not barge in on someone's conversation. Now if that will be all, I'll go find something better to do. Quote

Pyrovisionary Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Sarge sat back smugly and content, in the knowledge that he had annoyed, another arrogant youth. Mercutio help me when the feared conversation police come. Oh I'm so scared he thought Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Empty handed, Guts returned to the hall, he had stored his stuff in what used to be the captain's cabin, it was not like the other two owners of the ship were there to argue the point with him anyway. The walk with the ogre had been surprisingly pleasant. Guess people don't bother you as much with a brute like that at your back. The raider was surprised to see his table cleaned and empty. That was right, the charm that subtly directed people the other way was gone too now. With a small smile grazing his lips, the old man sat down at the clean table he had unconciously considered home for the past months. Would this be his life until he'd die? Doing jobs for whoever, coming back to a loud hall with a stiff drink, sleeping on a ship. While that sounded terrible in his head, Guts was strangely okay with that. There was no need to run anymore. It had been more than eighteen months... It was funny, with that in mind, he wasn't sure if it was right to keep being Guts Holla... A fake name, a fake persona, but did he not become that person? Could he still go back to being... whoever he was before? The raider smiled again, and said in the direction of the Assassin: "Visited the oracle, have you? I visited the Temple of Zoot, it's an actual place, surprisingly close to here. I'd take you there, but there's a lizard in the way that hates me." Quote
CMP Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Atramor took a deep swig of rum and tilted his head towards the bald raider. "You're gonna be hard-pressed to find anyone willin' or able to go to that hellhole anymore." Quote
CMP Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 "Do you ever go to dungeons that've already been cleaned out of enemies and loot?" Quote
The Legonater Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Atramor and I - as well as a crew of others - fought tooth and nail against Wren down there. That why my bow here's named as it is. I lift Requiem for emphasis. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 "Wren..? But I see, met the dragon? Quite a personality, isn't she? I wonder if she remembers the gift I gave her. I'm unsure, but it might have been the most valuable thing I have ever owned, and I have been a merchant-prince, hah! But through it, we managed to make a girl happy, save a kid and kill a necromancer, defeat an incarnation of one of the three demonlords and all that good stuff, guess it was worth it." There was something strange about Guts, there was no need to keep to himself... Was he becoming like Lawrence Boomingham? The raider's face turned sour at that thought. Quote
The Legonater Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Sadly, I haven't met the dragon. I have met a dragon, but not the one the resides under Eubric. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 "Resides under Eubric... It's almost sad, if you ask me. I'm no fan of dragons, but others I have seen could fly, in the open sky. To be locked away in a cave, the bond with her Dragoon must be very strong, for a dragon to accept such fate." Quote
CMP Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 "Impressive," replied Atramor, taking a sip of rum in amused silence. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Suddenly, the Raider got up from his thoughts, and said: 'That must mean there are other entrances to the Temple under Eubric. The place should be locked away, there are powerful demons locked away there. if the wrong people found it... We could have another Demon-driven war at our hands." Quote

Flipz Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 "Do you ever go to dungeons that've already been cleaned out of enemies and loot?" "Not to mention," Arthur said, unable to completely ignore Atramor's remark,"that Wren sealed all of the other entrances herself to keep us from getting down there." Suddenly, the Raider got up from his thoughts, and said: 'That must mean there are other entrances to the Temple under Eubric. The place should be locked away, there are powerful demons locked away there. if the wrong people found it... We could have another Demon-driven war at our hands." "You needn't worry. There's only one feasible way to get back to that temple now, and you're standing on it." Arthur taps the floor with the tip of his sword. "Back on Grogmas day, we busted through this to get to the Temple--the Hall sits directly on top of it, you know. It's tough to break through, but doable. In that sense, we really are Eubric's last defense." Quote
CMP Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Atramor nearly rolled his eyes as Arthur joined the conversation. "Always out to ruin the fun, huh, mate?" Quote
The Legonater Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 "As long as the Hall's around - and its floorboards stay solid - I wouldn't worry about it." 'Solid'? I'd almost think those things were made out of pure iron. I still want to know how they counterstrike. Quote
