"My good man, this is no food!" I chuckle. "I can't say it didn't have me confused at the time of my seizing upon it, but it is a highly effective weapon. See that demon over there?" I point out Dreyrugr. "One hit from this, and he's finished. Dead meat! That's the power of this..." I hoist the steak from the cart and hold it high in case Dreyrugr should be looking our way.

"Ugh, dead meat. However, I need to get me some food now. Do we have a deal with this Wand then? 150 gold seems fair enough."

"It preserves its potency for the consummation of the evil. It is very handy. I suppose I shall accept your 150 gold, though I think the weapon is worth more than that. It is always nice to meet a brother who recognizes evil and can be a help in conquering it. Any chance you'd throw a Phoenix Incense in as well, as I saw you carrying a number? It would greatly help me in my struggle."

"I remember that. What was that, two years ago now? Back when we were simple mages and rangers. Life was much simpler then indeed." Althior listened to Skrall go on about Alexis. He rolled his eyes and leaned forward. "Too ashamed of her current path I'd say. The path of the Harlot is the lowest I can think of. I have more respect for dirt than I do for them." He sits back, "my apologies if I seem harsh, I just simply cannot understand why any sane being would stoop that low. Though Alexis was never a sane one, I'll say." He chuckles.

"Say, my friend, you look much more battle hardened than you were previously. Any interest in taking your training up a notch?"

"Harsh, perhaps not, but I'd rather not go into the details of some of our encounters in the fields. I will say the wiles of the harlot profession have just as much effect on the monsters there as they do the hearts in here. No clue why someone would want to entertain those types of situations, but youth these days do decide to pursue stranger things. By trainin' do ya mean some sort of match or were ya referin' to the aid of the Copper Fox? I ain't got any plans for pursuin' any other skills if that's what ya mean."

"Ya' talkin' about Alexis, or her crazyass ex?" interrupted Atramor, pulling up a chair to Althior and Skrall's table. The former was annoying, but he'd decided heroes could become far worse than that, and could fight well enough.

The ogre acknowledged the regulator, "Ah Atramor, please join us. Last I saw Arthur was after our encounter with Wren, the experience was definitely jarring on him I'll say that at least. Perhaps both of them are dealin' with the trauma in their own ways."

Before sitting down with Tesni Namyrra did a quick dash out to the marketplace to get supplies since she'd learned she'd been chosen to lead the party going to the deserts of Azzurat.

"Indeed, it really has been too long, what have you been up to lately?"

"Well, I personally sliced the head off of the leader of the 108 stars." Tesni grinned. "Actually struck the killing blow on a fair few of those lowlifes. Not sure how much I like the country out there though." She took out her newest blade, "Got his one out of the deal though. How was the fields?"

"Ah, Gibbin, haven't seen you since that theater business, You're looking a bit different,"

"By trainin' do ya mean some sort of match or were ya referin' to the aid of the Copper Fox? I ain't got any plans for pursuin' any other skills if that's what ya mean."

"I was indeed. But as you seem like you are not pursuing another path, would you in fact be interested in this Oculoid Claw here? It seems suitable for you, at the moment,"

The ogre acknowledged the regulator, "Ah Atramor, please join us. Last I saw Arthur was after our encounter with Wren, the experience was definitely jarring on him I'll say that at least. Perhaps both of them are dealin' with the trauma in their own ways."

Althior sips his drink, "I believe he may be referring to me, and I wouldn't blame him. I've done things I'm not proud of. That is one of them, but then again, haven't we all made bad choices?"

Althior sips his drink, "I believe he may be referring to me, and I wouldn't blame him."

"Believe it or not, no. She took up with that back-stabbin' little rat for a time, but I guess things panned out for him there about as well as they did back in that temple."

Atramor swigged his rum. McCafferey nibbled some breadcrumbs off the table.

"All the same...got me some experience dealin' with these demon types. It'll come in handy, I'm s'post to be headed out to Azzurrat tomorrow and hack up some more. Shame I can't have ya' by my side again Skrall. Give ya' one kind of enemy to shoot at and ya' can put out both their eyes at a hundred feet away with the same bolt," joked the regulator.

"I believe it has a one of six chance of infecting whoever is unfortunate enough to come in its way. Pretty nasty, but I have no use of it."

"Aw, yer too kind. Can't say I envy you though, demons be the worst kind of devils to deal with."

"Ah, ya' get used to 'em."

Atramor reached back over his shoulder briefly to ensure the Pheles Rod was still present.

Spying Sylph entering the hall, I call over to him.

"Druid, there's a strange creature on your shoulder. I would suggest removing him quickly, or would you like me to do it for you..." I once again clutch the steak. It gives me a feeling of power.

"You still interested in these robes? I bought them off of the chap before our quest, but you ended up using them the whole time. Not sure if they're quite for me. I may go for some armour instead. What do you say?"

"We can talk about a deal including the Incenses another time." hisses Amma and grabs the Wand of Poking in exchange for 150 gold. Then she runs out of the Hall, looking for something to eat.

"Greetings ladies. Namyrra, I have potion that might aid you in your next quest. Would you be interested in a canister of Demon Repellant (Makes the user impervious to direct attacks from demons during one battle) in exchange for say, your container of Milk (restores 15 health and 15 ether upon consumption)?"

"That sounds like a good deal master Nur, consider it done. Just don't let the milk go sour, I fear it will lose its powers if you do."

"That's good to hear, our failure in the pagoda all those months ago has been bothering me. Good thing you took care of the remaining scum. And ooooh.. that looks like a lovely blade, may I hold it? Just for a little while?"

"And the fields.. were.. well, the fields are the fields, a long trek fighting monsters every step of the way. We did more there than any other party has done before us though, took out the two remaining threshold monsters, and from the last of those, the Crystal Titan, I got this phenomenal mace, which seems to get stronger for every gem I have Anwyl put into it. Say, you wouldn't happen to have any spare gems, would you?"

"Hmmm...umm...okay?" I wonder at the rude behaviour. Hardly seems like a brother, I muse.

"Oh, sure. Take a closer look at the thing, I am looking forward to using it in battle." Tesni handed the blade across. "As for gems, I did aquire a ruby at some point. You want to add some fire to that smasher?"

"Seeing as I've already imbued the one ruby I had into it I'd love to get a new one, are you willing to sell it? For 75 gold perhaps?"

You mean Sister?" The Druid Queried. "My Friend, the bat, is not intruding, therefore, I will not remove her. You were saying? The robe? I would love to buy it. how about 230 gold coins?"

OoC: let's haggle it up to the prearranged price.

I'm not going to ask how it works on animals...

"Any reason why you chose this path in the first place?"

"It just seemed like the only choice at the time. I am considering changing but this class is working out well."

Hoke walks up to the ladies and pats Tesni firmly on the back.

"I see you made it back from the bandits."

"That I did, slew a dragon and a rebel leader. Good times." Tesni waved farewell to Namyrra as the necromancer left for her newest quest. it was vexing that this meeting had been so short.

"Sister? No, no, you must be mistaken. I was speaking to the dwarf there." I point out Stigveladi. "As far as the Robe is concerned, I bought it for 300 coin and have not even had a chance to use it as you hoarded it the whole quest. To sell it for a price under that would be unthinkable. However, as a Cleric to a Cleric and Party Leader to Senior Adviser, I will let it go for 270."

Bet you didn't see that coming.

"Inflictin' what exactly?"

"It weakens your enemy quite a bit I believe. It's much like a deadly poison."

The infection deals damage equal to 1/3 the enemies level. I don't know how too explain how Althior would know that.
