Scorpiox Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Haldor noticed Maximus' gaze. "People are curious as bodies are normaly expected to stay put when they die. Not going around kicking in doors. I'm sure people have seen the undead before, but it is more common for them to run around arms outstretched shouting 'Brraaaiiiiinsss!!!' than don armour and decide to kick down doors." Haldor's mind wanders onto his love, Jess, and if she was alright. She has these wonderfull eyes... Quote
Dragon Warrior Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 (edited) Maximus approaches the elf looking like he has many questions to ask and says in an loud and clear voice "Greetings elf, how are you? I am Maximus Glacuis! the undead skeleton" Edited October 5, 2011 by Dragon Warrior Quote
Sirius Black Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 (edited) (I assume you were referring to me?) Bob watched as the skeleton, apparently having not heard either his or Haldor's questions, approached him. Upon reaching Bob, the skeleton boomed in a remarkably loud voice "Greetings Elf, how are you? I am Maximus Glacius, the undead skeleton! Bob is rather bored, or was before skeleton arrived. Bob has been awaiting questing now for over two months, and Bob has had nothing else to do during that time. Bob was just about to grab a meal, would skeleton like to... Bob trailed off, realizing that skeletons don't eat (or do they? ) Deciding to eat later, and not to do so in front of the skeleton, just in case he would take offense, Bob continued the conversation. So, skeleton is undead, skeleton? Does that mean skeleton is alive? Where did skeleton get skeleton's name from? It is most intriguing. What does skeleton's name mean? Dragon Warrior Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 (I assume you were referring to me?) (yes I was) "you look hungry do eat, I am alive due to an curse that happened many years ago. Waterbrick Down Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 "That homely cottage in Waldruck!" Skrall suddenly exlaimed, "No, hmmm... that wasn't it either. Sod, why is it always the memory's the first to go?" he muttered to himself. Peering over the bar to the floor below, Skrall noticed the commotion being stirred up by a new comer to the hall, an undead one at that. Skrall ordered a leg of mutton and sat back down at his table. "Things are startin' to get interestin'," he thought to himself, "I wonder what that Boomin'ham fella would have to say about this." Kadabra Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 As he entered the Hall, En Sabah Nur is shocked to see his friend Haldor conversing with what appears to be a decaying skeletal knight. "You there, bearded elf in blue. You appear to be quite knowledgeable in all things magic. What manner of necromancy is this that animates that corpse?" "It is as you say it. Necromancy. A vile and despicable art, and a school of Darkness magic, I believe. It's unnatural, it is. As for all these questions on how he moves and speaks without organs, it is all done through magical means." Herica is for all, don't be racist the undead does not have to be evil. If we discrimnated by race we would have a lot less members, in fact one of a best heroes is Cronk the Orc. Arasmyth turns to Elgar. "Hmpf. Don't lump me in with all the Orc haters. I've lived on the border of Baltorak for almost 2 centuries, and some of my closest friends were orcs. And besides, it can hardly be called racism when the undead aren't even a naturally occuring race." Quote
Jebediahs Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Nur nods at the venerable mage. "Do you think the Ziegfrieds could have created it?" Nur stares at the new arrival as his thoughts wonder who is the authority on Darkness magic. Quote
Scorpiox Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 "So, Maximus, are you aware of who cursed you and why? Oh and hello Nur, I haven't seen you for a while. How is everything? Have any of you heard from the arena? I do hope Jess is alright, but I'm sure she is, she's very strong and clever, and very pretty too... Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Nur nods at the venerable mage. "Do you think the Ziegfrieds could have created it?" Nur stares at the new arrival as his thoughts wonder who is the authority on Darkness magic. Harkenshire turns around to see what the commotion is and hears the mage Nur mentioning the Ziegfrieds. "Excuse me, good mage, ou say it may be the work of the Ziegfrieds yet there are many other possibilities as to what happened to Maximus. He could have been a necromancer himself whose spell backfired or maybe he encountered a group of magic users Heroica hasn't heard of.Or even, he met the MiracleWorker!" Now Harkenshire addresses Arasmyth, "Why must you speak of Necromancers with such distaste? The art of Necromancy is simply the art of the dead. Not all Necromancers are evil and want to raise an undead army. Of course, there are evil Necromancers such as Wolfpack Necromancers or independent Necromancers but there are ones who use the art of necromancy to help others. I once knew a Necromancer who sometimes helped the Ranger Corps by reviving freshly killed bodies so we can ask them questions as to who killed them. " Harkenshire returns to his drink and asks for another from the ORC bartender. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Not sure about that entry, pal. It seemed a little... skeletal. Perhaps you should put more life into it. And your tone quality is flat, dead. And put some meat on those bones! I look around for more bad puns. Quote

CMP Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Atramor noticed a piece of paper magically appearing on the Quest Board. When read, his face split into a grin. "A Hinckwell quest, and looking for rogues? And another 1,200 coins? This is a mission for me," he decided, scribbling his name in a corner on the sign-ups for Quest 9: Trespassers. McCafferey bawked approvingly. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Skrall sat up from the bench where he had fallen asleep, he slowly stretched and took note of his surroundings. "Seems like a new quest has been posted," he thought to himself as he trod down the stairs for a closer inspection. After reading the description a smile of remembrance appeared on the ogre's face. He quickly gathered his belongings and strode out the door, he would leave his fellow more inexperienced rangers with the opportunity of Hinckwell employment for the moment. He had remembered something he had noticed during his recent chase of the thief Donny Dozenhands and he hoped his investigation would also herald the arrival of a new quest as well. Quote

Jedi master Brick Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Elgar had the chance of questing with many great heroes, he looked extremely happy but knew quest 5 was almost back which could put a bit more congestion for a quest. Still he knew this was his chance to shine. Quote
Quarryman Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Getting rather bored with just sitting in the Hall and meditating Namyrra eagerly went to the quest board and signed up for Quest#9. Quote
Sirius Black Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) Bob looked at the quest board, suprised to find signups for another quest. It had been a while since anything new had appeared, and although the quest was slanted towards rouges and rangers, Bob decided it was worth his time to sign up, as he had nothing better to do. Walking over to the board, Bob signed up for quest #9. Edited October 7, 2011 by Sirius Black Quote
