Aaron Morse Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Yes it is the technic tube...and who is Eric? Sorry, it's me. Eric Druon / BaronSat Well nuts...now I gotta go and steal your idea. I'm sorry but that carronade is marvelous. Next time you're to Canada the grogs on me. Sorry most the wenches I know are married. Quote
Berry Syedow Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Impressive design, there, BoronSat. So I wonder what pirate fans would think, if TLC were to add more technic to pirate sets. These days technic is already infiltrating many system themes, much to the chagrin of older fans. If the Pirate Theme were resurrected, would you mind the technic infiltration? Quote

Aaron Morse Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 I believe thats LDraw the boys are using. The Lego drawings you have here. how do you make them? and is there a place i can get the same program? Quote
Tordenskjold Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 I believe thats LDraw the boys are using. Thanks. i found that out myselves *proud* *sweet* but as i've tryied MLcad(as the ldraw i use) i see some strange by the minifig. it look like a hollow man. no sides on the torso and the legs are paperthin. does anyone have a dat file with a good minifig. its more easy to see prop. if i can set in a minifig. Admiral Starwind Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 if you go to ldraw.org or soemthing and download the .dat files that are unofficial you should get enough to do what you need thats all i did i mean yes some of the pieces arent complete but they are complete enough to get the idea And i use MLCAD Quote
Tordenskjold Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I've tried to make me a carronade this weekend. its just a prototype i kind of like the big barrel i got. have to paint it black but i think it could work. a bit refitting to look better yes but i like it. Quote
El Bucanero Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 It looks like more like a mortar to me... Quote
Tordenskjold Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Ops. you're right Mr Tiber :-$ . i got so hung up by the sliding that i didnt see that. have to try again i think. but what you think of the size of the barrel. to big or? Quote
El Bucanero Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 The size is okay, the problem is that it..errr... it looks like a wooden barrel! Even when painted it looks like a barrel... Quote
Aaron Morse Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 theres my semi final one. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/morsea10...on/p1030789.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/morsea10...on/p1030787.jpg Quote
Admiral Starwind Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 I like em all Aaron but they would work better in a fort setting as opposed to the deck of a ship due to the limited sixe of lego decks. Quote
