There's nothing above or below the sticks that looks like a trap.

Namyrra looks at the pile again and it appears to be some sort of chest. But she can't find anything else out without removing the sticks from the chest.

"Well sticks are wood, and I think I saw ya usin' a bit of plant magic before, so if you can remove those sticks via magic, go for it, otherwise, I'll go and physically investigate those things myself. I can take the hit if it's a trap, but I expect someone to get me out :tongue: "

Arasmyth casts a wind spell blowing the sticks away. Now it is easy to tell that it is a chest.

No traps have been exposed, and it looks like a normal chest.

Arasmyth looks to his companions, then tentatively steps forward and reaches out with his staff and tries to pull the chest toward the party without getting closer than necessary.

Arasmyth oulled his staff back and shrugged, then laughed as Skrall fell into the well-concealed pitfall trap that was obviously going to be there. :laugh::tongue:

The party goes down the right path and walks into a clearing, where the are a couple of men standing.

"Well I guess we're being tracked. That would explain why our friend hasn't returned."
