Here you are changing the subject and throwing accusations again, but yet the person you were arguing with is dead and she was a town, so was Gingeroono. You sound scummy. Why would you mention you don't have night actions? To take away blame from yourself? Sounds scummy, heck I wouldn't be surprised if I'm killed just like Wilhelmina because I'm arguing with you. You've been forceful in almost all your comments, trying to bend the votes your way and aggressively defending yourself. You my friend are scum. We have confirmed that everyone is on edge, and I agree that more people need to join in. Jimbob is the most supicious person that I can see, but I don't want to be rash and vote off another townie to the lion cage. We made that mistake once, and I don't wish to make it again. If anyone has any evidence that could help us, please put it forward, we really need a lead here.

I have to agree that line of thought, Jimbob was the first to Vote for Gingero, though admitedly I was a hastey second , and Wuntin who accused Jimbob winds up dead in the night? That seems pretty suspicios to me.

That seems pretty suspicios to me. Wutin ending up dead in the night was an unlucky coincidence, or the mafia are cunning and are trying to kill me off without using a night kill. I put myself in a very risky postion rushing to vote and the risk back fired. I shall wait to see how the vote goes but don't rush to vote on me, it will back fire on you (unless you are scum).

The Investigator, assuming we have 1 and is still alive can use a member of the town he or she trusts to reavel the results of his findings. This way the Investigator remains a secret but we get the infomation.

Firstly a scum player could come forward saying that they were contacted by the investigator when they really weren't and could give us unreliable information, the investigator may die before they can set it strait or not be proactive enough to warn us. Secondly the cop may trust the wrong person, if they tell a scum that their the cop, they'll be the next target to kill. And if they do get lucky and trust a member of the town then the scum will see the person as a threat and kill him/her, as the doctor won't be able to effectively protect this person without locking down our only source of protection.

Yeah what he said ^ anyone could pose as town, I think that's what scum do anyway. So whoever our investigator is, should probably take suggestions from this discussion and proceed by themselves.
Fred Fred Burger Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Oh guys I totally forgot something, probably the most obvious thing about the cop , the investigator can determine people's allegiances during the night so that discounts the 2nd scenario,not completely though because we don't no how his investigation affects any 3rd party(serial killer) or any possible scum leader(Both of whom have showed up as innocent in investigations in the past if my memory serves me correctly,)

Mafia Game is a quite complex game, but if you understand the basics it turns out to be not that hard at all. Town There are two types of members of the town. Those with a night action and those without a night action. If the pm I send you said that you didn’t have a night action, that means that you are a Vanilla townie. All you can do is discuss all that is going on in the topics and vote for the player you think isn’t a member of the town. If your pm said that you have a night action you should look it up on this site: http://www.mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page Keep in mind, this is a very basic game. For instance if you look up the Cop role it turns out that there are several different cops. For a Mafia School game the host always pics the most easy role. The players with a night action need to pm me their target every night. I will take care of the rest. The other players don’t get to know who was targeted. Town wins if they lynch all the scum players. Scum Just like the town, the Scum has two types of members too. Those with and those without a night action. Scum members without a night action are called Goons . Then you always have scum members who do have a night action. Just like the town players the scum players get to vote for a person every day. If they have a night action, they too have to pm it to me every night. It's the scums job to be mysterious like a shadow in the night. To make townies suspicious of each other without becoming a suspect themselves. Scum wins if they outnumber the town. Roles The most basic roles are: Cop A cop can investigate 1 player per night. He needs to pm the name of a player to the host and the host will tell if the player is scum or town. The cop can choose who he chairs this information with. If his target turns out to be town too it might be a good idea to contact him/her. Doctor A doctor can choose to protect a player from other players night actions. He can protect 1 player per night and does this by sending a pm with the characters name to the host. Vigilante The vigilante is a killer. He can be a member of the town or a neutral player (keep in mind, in a Mafia School game there are no neutral players). He gets to kill 1 player per night. He does so by sending a pm to the host containing his victims name. Blocker The blocker gets to block 1 player per night. He does this by sending a pm to the host containing his victims name. If his victim doesn’t have a night action, nothing will happen. If he does have a night action, his action for that night will be cancelled. Godfather The godfather is a Scum role. He is responsible for the scum kill. He gets to kill 1 player per night. He does so by sending a pm to the host containing his victims name. Metagaming Metagaming is using out-of-game information, or resources, to affect one's in-game decisions. For instance if I didn’t add a knife thrower to the group, even though it was one of the most mentioned acts in the sign up thread. I chose to drop that role because some players might thing that since he knows how to handle swords, he must be a killer. The first 24 hours are up. Voting starts as of now. Why would i wanna go in the ring with Jimbob throwing cakes and be funny? Im not funny at all and a horsekeeper? I felt of a horse when i were younger so i dont like them... I like sitting with my cards and divining people's future, reading the newspaper and drinking coffee. Maybe our lovely assistens not are that loveley as they wanna be and are trying to ruin the cirkus for Madam Mitsie. Does anyone have anything to go after so we dont need to guess on the next voteing? I just think she sounds kind of suspicious, because she seems TOO innocent. If you are expecting solid evidence then this is the wrong circus I believe. We only got these vague assumptions to go on. Tora wouldn't be my first choice to vote off but I do agree with Joshua that her non-suspicious behaviour is suspicious in its own. Those I believe have acted most suspicious so far are the Benzini Brothers and Mr. Mime. They have stayed very quite to avoid attention and both voted for Gingeroono once he already had gotten a lot of votes.
