Prairie Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Olivia by far is my favorite. She's me in my LEGO play. I didn't expect such a strong identification with any of them because at first I wasn't wild about their facial designs. Without realizing it Olivia came to strongly occupy this place for me. I feel kind of weird because I've accumulated at least four Olivia minidolls, three of which are all her in her "standard" dark pink shirt with hearts and lavender skirt. I don't like seeing more than one of her together! In contrast, I find that I dislike Emma significantly, and it's not any particular aspect either. I just look at her and have dislike! It's funny. I've gotten Emma's House recently and am going to see how I feel after building that and seeing what her home life is like. I know I already like Olivia's house better becaues it's more classic and unsophisticated (other than having a flat-screen TV in the living room), rather than modern like Emma's house. Quote
Karlota Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 My favourite mini-doll is Stephanie, although I think all of them are very nice. I also really like Noah XD Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Haha, so I'm not only one that somehow ended not liking Emma? Mia is my favorite- Lovely red head that care for animals and play drums. Perfect :D Quote
Ranger of the Forest Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 While I like all of the Friends mini dolls, I think Stephanie is my favorite. Not sure why, as she arguably has the least defined hobby of all of them, but I like her regardless. Quote
legobear Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 (edited) this is totally off topic but I feel sad that lego designs regular lego sets with little detail comparedto the friends sets. It makes me feel like they are saying we are unsophisticated. I prefer the friends sets overall minus the dolls. Mia is my girl too bc she gives us good animal parts. Prairie Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I see it more as a balance rather than absolute: designers can put the limited piece budget to use on more external or more internal detail, and feedback has shown that most buyers of the city prefer more external detail than less external detail and more internal detail. Maybe a mod can split this into a separate thread. Quote
