Zarkan Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Nope, I just checked on Paint. ;-) If it has gold pieces in it, I might buy it, budget permitting (which usually means I don't have a clue, since there are so many good sets I want, I have no idea which ones to pass on! X-D ) Quote
sam89 Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Can someone post the pic? I can't see it |-/ Quote
xenologer Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Maybe it's inverted because its a 'leaked' picture and by inverting it, a lego rep scrolling thru the forum quickly won't notice it? Quote

dillthepill Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Those are pretty cool, considering that I don't like most of the sets. I'll probably pick up 4939, 4953,and 4956. Great find. *y* Quote
Hobbes Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 As with City and Aqua Riders, Amazon.de has the new box arts for Creator, too: Enjoy :-) Quote
Athos Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 First off, how did I miss these? Secondly, they look pretty decent, but I'll probably pass on them. The monkey might be good if it has a lot of brown bricks. And I'll be all over that house, if the roof bricks can in a color other than red (sand blue would have been quite nice). I really don't need any more roof bricks in red (or black, for that matter. Steve Quote
xwingyoda Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 And now I can hear the pod fans screeming :-D I am really not a fan of those smaller sets (and I really dislike the racer-like packaging :-X ) However that house is a must buy for me !! I still can't figure out what kind of garage door it has !! Any ideas ? It doesn't look to be the great sliding door, it looks like a kind of wider "normal" door. *yoda* Quote
xenologer Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 gah! :-X I was never the biggest fan of Xpod Pods, but at least you could store stuff in them! Tiny Turbo tubs are just throw aways...the shape is entirely wrong for sorting small bricks, too tall to reach inside and grab stuff, and non-transparent sides mean you cant see what you left in there... sam89 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Here's sa couple more pics: I think the car looks great. I love the way the doors open. Quote
Hobbes Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 However that house is a must buy for me !! I still can't figure out what kind of garage door it has !! Any ideas ? It doesn't look to be the great sliding door, it looks like a kind of wider "normal" door. I see some sort of handle on the bottom, so I guess it'll open "upwards-out-front". I second my idea myself (;-)) since the car and its alternate models use hinges more than cars of the past. So the house could use one there, too... Of course, this is just an educated guess ;-) Quote
Chuck Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Not sure if this has been posted yet Set 6162 Set 6163 I didn't know about these. Were these in the list? -l2k- Quote
alex54 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Those mosaic sets could be very good part pacs if you want a lot of 1x1 bricks! Nice... Quote

PaulC Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 However that house is a must buy for me !! I still can't figure out what kind of garage door it has !! Any ideas ? It doesn't look to be the great sliding door, it looks like a kind of wider "normal" door. I still can't figure out all the details, but if you look real close the garage door seems to be made out of plates, with 1 stud wide smooth plates placed vertically on the outside. I can't work out why there is a blank spot (showing the studs) in the middle and along the bottom edge. All very peculiar. I love this set and the previous Building Bonanza. Just the thing to add to your city if it's missing some residential development. Quote
Scouty Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 What a lovely home *wub* . What a rampaging monkey!! What a big AirForce Jet!!! *sweet* It seems like creator this year is pretty good. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted October 21, 2006 Governor Posted October 21, 2006 Enjoy :-) Yes Imperial Scouts, it is lovely ins't it? I look at this set and see so many "Imperial" uses for it. *pirate* Quote
Hobbes Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Yes Imperial Scouts, it is lovely ins't it? I look at this set and see so many "Imperial" uses for it. *pirate* Get rid of the garage and fences, use a harbor base plate (those gray ones also used for city harbors and train stations), and you have a tavern. Far fetched? Maybe, but not impossible... and with "Use your imagination"... you know... ;-) Quote
Darthking623 Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Why would u want to get rid of the garage? its got one of those doors that when u press a button it opens.I think it does anyway. Quote
hewkii9 Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Ooohh, verry nice. The 'pods' are amazing. Love that monkey. Love that truck. Love that robot. Love that helicopter. Love love love. Tons of nice parts, great colors, and nice designs too. The yellow DeLorean is nice as well. Quote
snefroe Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 i guess they're selling these houses in the creator theme to compensate for the lack of houses in 'city', and yep, it looks very nice, however, a normal tree would have been welcome... a car and a few minifigs and we have classic lego house... hewkii9 Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Since Pirates as a theme is dead, Phes and all his other pirates like anything that has pieces from the Pirates line or can be converted. Like that, or Aqua Raiders. I think I got the gist of it. Quote
