-zenn Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I had the vehicle base lying around for a while now, and it was about time I used it. So Here you go. Also tried out some different color combinations; tan, dark red, light grey, black. But this just looked right. Rage; a dune buggy inspired by the 'Mad Max trilogy' and 'Doomsday'. Piratedave84 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Cool little vehicle, I like the rugged look to it, even before I read the text I thought "mad Max". The fig fits the model very nicely!!! I understand that the parts are limited in this color, but some nougat or dark orange accents (small bits here and there), to look like rust, would take it over the edge for me! Still, excellent creation! Quote
Rook Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 The skull on the front is awesome. Iām stealing it! Quote

Still, excellent creation! Thanks, I actually tried to work with some brown minifig hands and brown 4l bars. But didn't like the look of it. A friend of mine suggested I should give it a mild dry brush with some paint. The skull on the front is awesome. Iām stealing it! Haha, go ahead! Maybe use it for your 'toro-lug'... Quote
JackJonespaw Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Very nice! Show us a picture with the fig in the buggy! Quote
TLOR FETT Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I like it a lot, looks like it is straight out of Mad Max. The minifigure looks a lot like the bad guy in the movie Doomsday. Quote
-zenn Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 Very nice! Show us a picture with the fig in the buggy! Haha, well I wanted to... but than he has to shave his mohawk off. Quote
CptMugwash Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Damn that's a sweet ride, I can definately see the inspiration, love the shovel wing mirrors, can it be converted to run on pig manure? Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Perfection '-zenn'.....looks like it would be from Mad Max 3 ! Excellent designing there (I really like the fuel tank on top)....plus minifig ! Brick On beyond Thunderdome ! Quote

RedGiant Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Great movie! Beautiful buggy! Lovely skull! Quote
Rocketbilly Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 This is really very cool, I love the skull on front and all of the bits tackedon to the side, like the oil drums and the a RPG launcher. Very cool - love the fig, too. Quote
brickmack Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Awesome buggy. The detailing looks wonderful, and the skull on the front is a nice addition. A bit of dark orange/brown for rust would make it a lot better though, since it is supposed to be post-apoc. Interesting fig too. Quote
Tobbe Arnesson Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Great work! Love it, very Mad Max! The mirrors are a nice touch. What is most stunning is that a fleshie is finally looking good! Quote
