I am working on the Grazi's tow truck and painful on the old wires (13 wires). I am trying to replace the old motors (actually I bought all the motors required) with modern ones. Now it comes this great model with clear instruction. It make me more painful now...

@Theo van Vroenhoven, no that model has been taken apart a looooooong time ago. No instructions.

OK. I see that there are quite a few pictures in your Flickr steam. May be I can used those pictures as inspiration for my model

The model has been added to rebrickable, see if you can build it :D

I am affraid to click the build this button. Probably going to be missing 70% of the parts :P Thank you so much for your work so far :) Brilliant model

I'm missing 11.7% 4.6% :classic:

I noticed that the lengths of the pneumatic hoses are not mentioned in the instructions, does anybody know what lengths are needed?

Just so everyone knows, this file is 126MB and can't be sent through email(I had someone ask about this) The file is much too large to send through most email inboxes... It's much easier to just download...

Also make sure that you have the most recent version of Adobe Reader installed...

In the case of this model, I recommend just buying a 10 meter spool of tubing from one of the aftermarket sources and cutting each piece to length on installation. I tried using predefined lengths, but I found that as I added wires and made routing changes the lengths didn't turn out to be right. I would guess that each builder will end up with slightly different lengths.

Very understandable, I have a couple of metres in several colors. But it would help to have some sort of guideline for the tubings. Like "this piece 10 - 12 centimetres". Just imagine you cut 1 piece of tubing a bit short and have to dissamble 20 steps to fix it. Autsch!

Anyway, after browsing through them, the instructions look pretty clear and well done. Now it's 'collecting-all-the-parts-time'.

I bought 200m 3rd party rubber tube for this moc. And will be enough for the whole life Lego moc I think. The tube is 4mm (inner Φ2.5mm) which I think is stardard size to other tubes for industrial use.

Last I heard, several people were working on building this model. Has anyone finished it yet? I would be very interested to hear how it worked out and see some pictures, especially of color variations.

I haven't even started yet... I'm afraid I won't have time until the first week of october :sceptic:

edit: I don't know if someone else noticed this, but there are quite a few differences between the partslist on Rebrickable and the one at the end of the instructions. 7 parts have different partcounts, and 2 parts are missing entirely at Rebrickable (3x string and 3x rigid hose). I guess I'll know for sure what's what when I start building... can't wait! :classic:
