I like green. It looks different. And green reminds me of "swamp", "Dagobah", "Kashyyk", "episode 3 Commander Gree", and "Kashyyk Trooper". I never was too enthusiastic about little Yoda hopping around like a rubber ball, but that's a different thing.

Having Darth Maul or a clone trooper on the packaging didn't make any sense with the OT sets. Yoda is a far better choice since he plays a role in both PT and OT.

True, but it's a completely different Yoda than the OT. I am offended by angry lightsaber Yoda.

I wish they would package the OT sets in one packaging, and the Prequel sets/CW in another. I don't like having prequel characters on my OT sets. I'm a die-hard OT fan, but I appreciate the Prequels for giving us so much more material, and I don't think SWLego would have been made without them.

I like it! I figured they would go with Yoda for the 2013 AOTC-themed packaging.

Like others have mentioned, the best part about this is the prospect of finally getting new Episode II sets! I really hope we see a Coruscant nightclub or Dexter's Diner set.

The green packaging is a nice change from all the blue and black we're used to seeing, but I think Yoda should've been saved for ESB's release and have Jango used instead.

Empire's artwork should be something Cloud City- or Hoth-centric. Me, I think they should do the scene from the poster in which Han kisses Leia, Gone with the Wind-style. (not that I'm a huge fan of kisses in movies, but that is such an iconic image)

Mmm... I wouldn't say it's completely different; at least it's a heck of a lot closer to Yoda's appearance in the OT than to the ugly puppet meant to represent a younger-looking Yoda in the original '99 release of Episode I. The only significant difference here from "classic" Yoda imagery is the fact that he is wielding a saber and that expression.

But that said, I do read you, and I personally would rather have had a truly classic Yoda image (i.e., one modeled upon a classic scene from Episode V, say).

Strongly agreed! Unfortunately, I doubt LFL/TLG would ever go with such art for toy packaging over something more action-oriented (that other kind of action :p ).
