Hi!

Last week I have tried myself for the first time to microspace.

Here is the result :

L'Astrolabe ( The Astrolabe ) :

A freight ship from the last generation. Faster, more powerful than the old ones, it can bring anything to any place in the known universe.

The Lightyear :

Unlike L'astrolabe, The Lightyear is an ancient freight ship. Its weak engine only allows the transportation of small old type containers. However, it's still used by cheap delivery companies and by poor space pirates.

Le Cachalot ( The Whale ) :

A third class galactic fuel tanker.

Hope you like it! :classic:

These are considerably larger than what I would perceive as 'microscale', but on the other hand, that allows them to be even more exquisitely constructed. The Lightyear is probably my favorite of the three; yellow isn't a color I'm used to seeing in spaceships, and you've got some fantastic NPU going on with the lightsaber hilt and minifigure neck brackets.

Very nice spaceships, lots of NPU. I like the giant containers on L'astrolabe. The Lightyear is also nice, good use of that long yellow part (not sure what it's called...)

Microscale isn't always tiny, just sub-minifig scale. The Death Star set (not the playset version) is microscale and quite large.

Cool ships. It took me a second to see how you made the containers on the first one. I'm starting to like these micro scale ships. I've seen a lot of these on Brothers Brick and I like them more and more.

Hello!

As a micro builder collegue, I can imagine it was hard to come up with these designs. :classic: Those transport ships are a pleasure to look at. Also the cargo is of clever design, I especially like the octagonal container construction for the first transport vessel. :classic:

Cheers,
