Faefrost Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Did Superman finally realize underwear is worn inside his pants? Based on that picture? I think he just opted to forgo it altogether Quote
just2good Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) , and that's the first time I've ever seen it in real life! When in doubt, go to Walmart! I didn't buy it, though. Edited June 12, 2012 by just2good Quote
MattZitron Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 This may have been talked about already BUT.... With the Green Lantern film not doing that well, do you guys think we'll ever see a GL set? I know there was a promo but I don't have a spare £90!!! Quote

deskp Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 No great loss there! I like the costume from the movie, so I'm glad I already got that fig. Quote

Stormer13 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 The Lego designers know we all want green lantern and the flash so next year the £70 set will end up being the only set with with them two in it. Anyway in one of the Lego batman 2 trailers we see flash and green lantern but lantern is in his comic out fit not the movie outfit. Quote

The videogame isn't based of the movies thats why they arn't wearing their movie costumes, Batmans black costume isn't based directly off a movie. Quote
Iron-Man Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 With DC releasing a Justice League movie I am pretty sure we will see an entire cast of the characters eventually! I feel like GL is a definite at this point just a matter of when Quote
YangHao6998 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 http://www.comicbookmovie.com/animated_features/news/?a=61454 Could we be seeing Wolverine with a mask in a set? Quote
newwavejunkie Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 http://www.comicbookmovie.com/animated_features/news/?a=61454 Could we be seeing Wolverine with a mask in a set? That would be great! I always preferred Wolverine's brown suit! Quote
Iron-Man Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Hopefully we will! I think there are a lot of opportunities to get one with all the new X-Men movies coming in the next year or two. A lot of people who bought the first Wolverine will be buying another if they make him with a mask so I don't see why TLG wouldn't do it. Unless of course the mold proves to hard to do, which I highly doubt after seeing some of the molds they have been able to accomplish this year! Quote
tafkatb Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I'm almost certain we'll get a Wolverine mask eventually. I think the mold could probably be used for a comic-book Hawkeye as well. Quote
deskp Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I can't see them doing a wolverine mask unless the theme continues on for a long time. Since they already made a set featuring wolverine without mask. Quote
Iron-Man Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) They could have purposely put him in there without the mask knowing people would jump all over a Wolverine minifig. Then later come out with a masked version and have the same people who jumped all over the first one, come back and buy another set to get the masked version. It would be a smart move for TLG because it obviously wouldn't work as well the other way around. If people got a masked version first they could just use the vampire hair and make their own Hugh Jackman version without having to buy a new set for the fig. Edited June 13, 2012 by Iron-Man Quote
Sam892 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 We will most likely get a masked version of Wolverine but I think it will be after the next Marvel wave. Lego will most likely throw him in a set like the blackbird to boost numbers. I don't see him coming out in another set yet, I mean the chopper showdown is still widely available. It would make a lot of sense to include him in a large set after the first Marvel wave is discontinued. Something like an X-mansion with 2 exculsive villains, 5 exculsive X-men and exculsive variant of Wolverine with mask and different facial emotions. In the Next wave I think we will see a lot more from the X-men. The only reason they were not more involved in this wave is because a lot of possible sets are similar to the Avengers sets. Example: Quinjet=Blackbird Quote

I meant as in swap some of the Avengers sets for X men sets. Lego could have easily scrapped the cube escape and the avenging cycle. They could have just put Captain America and the aliens into other sets. Then replace those sets with X-men ones. However because a lot of potential X-men sets are like the Avengers sets then Lego will chose to make more Avengers stuff because of the film. Quote
iambob13 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Technically, the Chopper Showdown Wolverine had a mask. It was just printed on his back. I think this theme will last for a long time. The biggest draw of the sets are the characters, and with so many of them having a wardrobe full of costumes they could eventually just release small sets with a hero and a villain to fight with some sort of small scene. Heck, each set could be a small part of a larger scene. Think of a build able street scene. Each set comes with a little bit of it. Wolverine alone has his brown suit, normal blue and yellow, weapon x, commando soldier, age of apocalypse, etc. Each one has several and I would be highly tempted to get each one. I can't wait for a set to include an ultra build style sentinel vs a minifig X-man. Quote

If they were to do alot of printing anyways I'd much rather have more diferent characthers instead of multiples of the same. Quote
305Bats Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 You guy think we'll see the remaining Batman characters from previous releases like Alfred,Nightwing,Croc, etc. re-released? I just started collecting the 2012 DC minifigs and those original ones are too expensive for me! Quote

I just started collecting the 2012 DC minifigs and those original ones are too expensive for me! I think we will probably see Nightwing and Killercroc next year and most likely Scarecrow too. Alfred however I'm not sure about as I would have thought he would have been included in the Batcave. Unless Lego release a Wayne Manor there's not many places they could put him unless they just throw him in a set randomly. Quote

If they do release those characthers at some point it'll be new designs, not the same as the original batman lego. Quote
