Brickdoctor Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I approach the man. "Excuse me, we're looking for a pair of Lucustoid doctors, both named Jiivni. Have you seen them?"
Jebediahs Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Nur peeks over Boomingham's shoulder. "Mm, nice."
Waterbrick Down Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) Boomingham peeks his head into the room to try to see the lady inside. "Were you having a little bit of an issue with this little gal? Maybe we should take her off your hands." "Naw we're just havin' a little fun ain't we deary," replied the man. The orc girl shivered. I approach the man. "Excuse me, we're looking for a pair of Lucustoid doctors, both named Jiivni. Have you seen them?" "The bugs are rooming next door." The man nods in the direction of room 1. Zepher Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Boomingham is conflicted. An orc... well, they're supposed to rot. A human conducting themselves poorly, particularly towards a lady, of any race... the alcohol is still pulsing through Boomingham's veins. Boomingham's hand flies with surprising agility to his sword, and he both unsheathes it and rams the butt of it into the man's nose in one clean motion. (unless, of course the man blocks it...)
Waterbrick Down Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) Boomingham's blow connects as the man flies back into the room. He quickly rights himself however, grabs a sword from a dishelved pile of cloths on the floor, and advances on Lord Boomingham. Prepare For Battle! Zepher Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Barty buzzes around nervously. Boomingham sloppily tries to swat at him. "What have you done?" "I'm saving a fair maiden. I thought you'd be proud of me," Boomingham wheezes. His eyes droop. "Oh well, here we go." Boomingham swings from the front row with his Frozen Saber.

Zepher Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 OoC: Would it be okay to play multiple rounds one after another, or do you not want to do that? If so, allow me to go through all the following actions (free hits will go between each of them, I know. If not, I'll just do these over the next few posts . It's a lot of actions. I'm hoping Boomy will win. Boomingham shakes his head sadly. "I need a drink," he mumbles before reaching into his knapsack and retrieving a nostrum, which he mistakes for mead and downs. He then tosses it aside, smacks his lips, and reaches into his knapsack, downing his Grand Potion. He belches impressively. "Now, then..." Boomingham then attacks his opponent with his King of the Desert from the front row.

Zepher Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Thank you for that assumption, I actually forgot I had a choice in the matter and thought I might be playing a little closer to the edge than I did. Zepher Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 OoC: I don't know if you remembered (or if it makes a difference) but for Round Nine, I would have healed myself in the back row. "Dear Ennoc, that stings..." Boomingham leans against the wall. "Just a moment, if you don't mind. I just need to detox, you know." Boomingham heaves and pukes on the floorboards. "Someone clean that up, alright? Barty, want to try to heal me up again?" If I'm healed, I'll continue with the King of the Desert from the front row.

Zepher Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 No, I know, you did it correctly, only Round Nine I would have been back-rowing it, and I don't know if you had me in the back-row or front-row.
Waterbrick Down Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 QM Note: I calculated damage from front row. All attacks I have treated as from the front and all healings from the back. I'm fine if you want me to run round nine again, I just will leave the decision to you on what you would have done.
Zepher Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Round Nine is says I tried to heal myself, but took damage. The damage I took was 14. It should have been less if I was in the back row healing myself, yes? I'm sorry, not trying to be difficult, just trying to work it out. Anyway, I don't even know if it matters, you can precede to Round 10 as it is, if you so choose! Sorry, just figured it out. You wrote "heals/free hit" when you meant to write that I attacked, I think. Sorry. Yes, go to Round 10 with me healing myself, thank you!
Scorpiox Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Haldor hangs his head in his hands."Boomingham, you might want to try hitting him now. Maybe we should pay the other rooms a visit before the doctor's accomodation, see if there are any other folks to start a fight with." Haldor turns his head as Boomingham vomits loudly onto the floor, and stands back beside Jess and Nur, preparing to step in if the 'King' gets himself killed.

Brickdoctor Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 "Master Skovgaard, could you heal Lord Boomingham, please?" Once I see that that has been done, I lead the party back to the door marked "1". This time, I knock as loudly as I possible can and raise my voice. "Doctor Jiivni? Are you in there?"
Waterbrick Down Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 Again, Docken's pounding is answered only with silence.
Brickdoctor Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I try to open the door. "If it's locked, Miss Islanti, could you please pick the lock?"
Scorpiox Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) Haldor sighs at Boomingham's loss of the duel. "That went well, I suppose I better fix you up Larry." Haldor closes his eyes, and a single word utters from his mouth. Lawrence sees a light, and is healed at the cost of one ether of Haldor. Haldor then follows Docken up to Room 1, and hammers loudly on the door. If there is still no answer, he then feels to see if the door is locked. If the door is locked, Haldor evaluates if the door is weak enough to be broken down by a big Norseman charging into it. "Hark, is anyone there?!" Edited April 25, 2012 by Scorpiox
Zepher Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Boomingham lumbers behind the other heroes quietly. Barty hovers around his head, in a more protective manner than normally.
