El Bucanero Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I thought this might be a nice idea for a topic: what is the origin of your ship(s) Here's my list: The Acheron(not finished yet): French. The HMS Unpredictable(sunk): British. La Flor Blanca(not showed before, I'm working on it): Spanish. The Red Peril: Pirate ship, made in Holland. So, where are your ships from?If you want to, you can list your ships and there origin here. BTW: I don't know if there's already a topic like this, I don't believe there is, but in case there is one, then feel free to close this *pirate* Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Spanish Privateer Alcatani, currently still under construction in its berth, captained by one Pirazzo Miragliano. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 13, 2006 Governor Posted November 13, 2006 The HMS Unpredictable(sunk): British. I don't have any ships!!! :'-( So I'll ask questions instead. What's the story behind the sinking of the HMS Unpredictable? i.e. the fictional reason, not the fact you needed to dismantle it because you needed the parts and space. Quote
Norrington Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 the hms sabre (finished, but i cant take pictures at the moment), dosn't have a captain yet.... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 13, 2006 Governor Posted November 13, 2006 Where did HMS Sabre originate from though? Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted November 14, 2006 Governor Posted November 14, 2006 I will tell that story later, in a new topic... Very well then... So to make myself useful in this thread I shall pester Mr Norrington some more... the hms sabre (finished, but i cant take pictures at the moment), dosn't have a captain yet.... You still haven't told us the orgin of the HMS Sabre. X-D Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Of course, I could go into the ships I have planned... H.M. Heavy Brig-of-War Ralph Kramden, Captained by one Nicholas Polemene. Built and Named in Dedication of our familys deceased cat of 18 years of age, Ralph. H.M. Privateer Light Brig-of-War Antelope, Captained by one Elcid Barret Built and Named in Dedication of the Stan Rogers song, Barrets Privateers Quote
oo7 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 The HMS Prometheus is under British command. *Resisting urge to post a picture in this thread...* Quote
Scouty Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 :'-( *sniff* I don't have a ship. Though I am working on a small merchant ship. Quite small. But any way, I don't have a name for it. I'm also thinking of doing a bigger project ship later. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 15, 2006 Governor Posted November 15, 2006 it's british....duh...... What's with the "duh"? 50 lashes for you lad! But seriously, why do you think its obvious that the Sabre is British? How is one supposed to be aware of this? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 15, 2006 Governor Posted November 15, 2006 Technically Mr Phes has lots of ships, but none of them are built by Mr Phes. The reason being Mr Phes hasn't made a MOC ship yet and probably won't for some time. But it will happen - one day... Quote
Scouty Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 ImperialScouts like talking in third person. Imperialscouts is sure Mr. MisterPhes will make a great ship. Imperialscouts wonders if ExoForce has any ships? Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 @ Mister Phes: HMS means His Majestys Ship ;) Only British ships use HMS. Quote
Governor Broadside Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Technically Mr Phes has lots of ships, but none of them are built by Mr Phes. You mean that all your official Lego ships have been built by another person? The reason being Mr Phes hasn't made a MOC ship yet and probably won't for some time. But it will happen - one day... Oh, you mean MOC ships. X-D X-D X-D The only "ship" I have is the cutter from ITP. 8-| Pretty pathetic... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 15, 2006 Governor Posted November 15, 2006 @ Mister Phes: HMS means His Majestys Ship ;) Only British ships use HMS. Incorrect, the Royal Swedish Navy also uses this prefix. You mean that all your official Lego ships have been built by another person? All my ships are official LEGO ships, none are MOCs. Quote
El Bucanero Posted November 15, 2006 Author Posted November 15, 2006 @ Mister Phes: HMS means His Majestys Ship ;) Only British ships use HMS. If I am right, the Dutch also used it.... Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Technically Mr Phes has lots of ships, but none of them are built by Mr Phes. Ah. I see. Then it all makes sence again... :-) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 16, 2006 Governor Posted November 16, 2006 Do you have any ships Mr EXO-CHAMP? Quote
Scouty Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 That's what I just asked yesterday. Didn't know that HMS stood for His Majesty's Ship....now I know :-) . Quote
Norrington Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 @ Mister Phes: HMS means His Majestys Ship ;) Only British ships use HMS. actully, it may be used in, approximatly 2 other countries, but it's more likley that you would think british, because it's the first country i think off that has a king.....exceprt for france, but i dont think they use hms, but i could be wrong.
