Have ordered lots of sets and parts and saved on the $NZ80.00 shipping charge. Hi there in New Zeland. As us folk here in The UK dont get may the 4th for over 4 hours could you please tell us what sets are on sale so we can grap them fast? I didn't look for sale sets. I went for ones we are not getting in NZ like the larger Cars movie sets. Also got the modular Town Hall because I am doing a public display early July and the Town Hall will be in NZ shops later in July. The sales appear to be mainly Star Wars sets and key rings. It is really a free shipping promotion rater than a sales promotion.

You can see the sales by switching the Region to Austrailia on the S@H site. It's actually a pretty big list including the UCS SSD. However it's all AUS prices which can be double USA and i dunno what compared to yours.

TheDarkness Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 (edited) Also, you do not need to buy any Star Wars to get the bonuses. And as corrected by Lobot, 10212 and 10221 are 20% off, not 25% Edited May 3, 2012 by TheDarkness
DrWeevil Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 My order won't go through - remains in a loop on the confirm order page - anyone else having the same issue?
TheDarkness Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 My order won't go through - remains in a loop on the confirm order page - anyone else having the same issue? Others have said they are having issues getting the tie/poster combo to show up
DrWeevil Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Yeah all the free stuff shows up, just won't click through to the final order complete page. Will have to give them a call tonight when the UK line is open if it's not sorted by then. I left a message in Sydney but by the time they call back in a weeks time it'll be a bit irrelevant!
Graysmith Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I put some non-Star Wars LEGO in my shopping bag and it still put the TC-14 figure in there.. Does that mean I'll still get it if I place my order, despite not ordering any Star Wars LEGO? I mean, even if it's an error on their part, shouldn't I still get it since they placed it in my shopping bag and told me I'd be getting one?

Graysmith Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 If it's in your shopping bag, you'll get it. Excellent! Ordered the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape and one Series 7 minifigure which put me over the free shipping/TC-14 promo limit for my country. The TC-14 stayed on the list the whole way through and it's listed on the receipt/email order description. Fingers crossed!
Notorious Guf Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 For those who have ordered sets from S@H in the USA before, does LEGO send the sets out in oversized boxes, or do they try to minimise wasted space by using the original outer carton? Also do they send the bonus polybag set separately or together with the other sets ordered?
robuko Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 My order won't go through - remains in a loop on the confirm order page - anyone else having the same issue? Yup, exactly the same issue
Darkdragon Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I put in two orders with no issue, though the USA sale is lame. For those who have ordered sets from S@H in the USA before, does LEGO send the sets out in oversized boxes, or do they try to minimise wasted space by using the original outer carton? Also do they send the bonus polybag set separately or together with the other sets ordered? HUGE boxes and small items they just toss in and everything gets banged around.
Notorious Guf Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 HUGE boxes and small items they just toss in and everything gets banged around. Damn, there goes that plan.. Thanks for the quick response.
PhoenixAustria Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Yup, exactly the same issue Same problem here (Country: Austria) You cannot even put the quantity of those free gifts to zero... We're trapped How did you get this done, Graysmith?
Graysmith Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 How did you get this done, Graysmith? I don't know.. I just didn't have any problems with it. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the Swedish LEGO.com store though, so maybe the problem is related to certain countries.
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 For those who have ordered sets from S@H in the USA before, does LEGO send the sets out in oversized boxes, or do they try to minimise wasted space by using the original outer carton? Also do they send the bonus polybag set separately or together with the other sets ordered? LEGO always sends out orders in an oversized box. They normally put the air bubbles inside the box to keep the items from banging around. However, during the Holidays and during May the 4th, they obviously have to process more orders and noticed that sometimes the air bubbles get left out. As far as the polybag (TC-14 in this case) is concerned, they'll send it with your order. If you order something that's on backorder, they will send TC-14 and the poster separately, and send your other items when they become available.
DrWeevil Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I called the phone line and placed my order over the phone without any problems. I'd emailed the site but they said my account looked fine. Think it must have been some kind of database glitch, affecting only certain accounts.... Hope you got your orders through...
Shawn Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I have noticed the same problem with adding keychains or minifigs to the orders. They boxes look like crap when they arrive after banking into the small items 20 or 30 times during shipping. It is a real shame. They used to be better. I went to the lego store today so I could pick out my items and get perfect boxes. It is a pitty that it is so far.
