Eki1210 Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 (edited) I really hope it is okay to "necro" this thread, but i really enjoyed going through it this sunday and watching all the videos . Maybe we can get this thread going again, here are some videos i shot this weekend in my living room . (Sorry for bumping an old thread, but i thought why start a new one when there already is a nice one!) EDIT: Fixed the links Edited February 20, 2022 by Eki1210 Quote
Murdoch17 Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 (edited) @JopieK I think this thread needs to be re-pinned.... I thought it was at one point, but it isn't anymore. It's just too awesome not to keep up top! @Eki1210 Awesome trains, I especially love the 10333 BNSF loco backdated to Burlington Northern "Cascade Green"! I've seen a few MOD's of the 2011 Maersk engine to that color scheme, but not the original 2004 set. Fantastic work! Edited February 20, 2022 by Murdoch17 Quote
dr_spock Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 I had 22 cars and one PF L motor going. Quote
Sunil766 Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 (edited) Can we consider (maybe rename?) this to be the place to share our regular, casual, temporary layouts? picture and/or video? Because I like to see other "casual" layouts very much (equally like sharing) and would otherwise be tempted to create an own thread to collect videos or photos :-) Here is my weekend activity. We moved to a bigger place and I could finally get out all my train stuff and build a layout including FX Tracks' R72 and R88 curves. Didn't use many of my straights so I am already looking forward to next time and building less of a "compact" and more of an "around-the-house" layout. PS: Batteries needed: 0 Feel free to comment! ColletArrow Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 @Sunil766 that looks like a fantastic layout, watching the City Passenger Train speed around those generous curves was mesmerising and I love your station set up. If there isn't one already, maybe we could start a dedicated "casual layouts" thread? Quote

I would support that Really nice seeing the fx-tracks in action, i used them in my layout too. The sound of 9V boogies on metall rails is just nice! Quote
ivanlan9 Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 @ColletArrow, it's really nice to see those lovely big curves in action. Sadly, I have no room for them: my layout space was designed for standard Lego curves, and besides, I have books and boxes stacked on parts, and modular buildings instead of track. It's not really a layout anymore. I really enjoyed seeing all your trains running like that. I've got all those too, but I will say that I think the Santa Fe would be better if you had an A-B-A set and a couple more cars! Quote

Eki1210 Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I let some of my MOC Trains run the other day: 9V, FxBricks wide radius Track and Lego Track were used Quote
