Myrddyn Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Erik shrugs. "Your essence, up to you." Avalanche sees Siercon go down,"Darn! I think one of us should revive him and the rest go for the Skeleton Knight or Creeping Hand, since they're not Hexed!" "Since the hex prevents them from damaging us for the whole round, we'd be better to pile attacks on one of the hexed enemies. Preventing the free hit from the knight is worthwhile, but I wouldn't worry about the creeping hand."Erik attacks the Skeleton Mage from the front row with the Titanic Axe. Siercon and Coral Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) Oh the Creeping Hand should have actually done 6 damage to Erik since he was in the front row. But he's back in the back this round. "Hey Siercon, looks like casting Light on the the Skeleton Knight through your Giant Spear from the back row is your safest option. Indeed, you live and you learn, and if it's a game... you die and you learn lol ;)Siercon does this, attacking the Skeleton Knight from the back row with a light spell through his spear. Siercon rises, and says "Thank you greatly friend, I clearly underestimated that mage... it will not happen again. I owe you one!" Thanks Warlen for the heal! ================================================ *Quick minor personal subplot if you don't mind (this is the first time i've been 'for real' KO'd, and there were some things I've planned to be incorporated into it* Basic facts. for OOC players. -Siercon cannot be KO'd an infinite number of times. -Flipz as Siercons first KO DM witness, can you roll 3d6ish for his ultimate number of lives. :( (and then I guess subtract one) -Warlen, as you were the one who revived him, you basically see something like this: As Siercon hits the ground, his black smoky figure fades greatly to reveal white luminescent tendrils. they seemed to be crudely wrapped in a human form but each string end, stretched out from his body to some plane beyond, like a puppet. Slowly as he comes to, the black smog swells back in as if being pulled from all around him, but not before Warlen notices one of the threads snap, disintegrate, and fall to the ground like used pixie dust. -Walen knows the number of remaining threads. (the others don't, and Siercon doesn't) Any ways, unless Flipz rolls three 1's, I'm hoping this doesn't bother anyone in the near future lol. Just some forced character opportunities :) Make sense? The Skull Knight prepares to protect itself, but not before Siercon finally gets a moment to shine. While the darkness of his cloak takes the sting out of his physical strikes, they still slice open the squirrels and make them bleed.
