Lightning Dragon Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Hello, I am wondering if the minifigure heads are supposed to move when you move the minifigure headpieces. Thanks. EDIT: I guess I got my answer now. Thanks guys! Edited August 28, 2012 by Lightning Dragon Quote
friedchikenfairy Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Well this is generally based on the opinion of the builder. I like it when its nice and tight so that the head and hair/hat/helmet move realistically in unison. This is usually an issue of the tightness of the headpiece. Cheaper plastic tend to have an either tight or too loose grip. So to answer your question, yes, but no Quote
fred67 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Yeah... yes and no. It would be nice if the head moved with the head-wear (hair, hat, helmet, whatever), but then it might be really difficult to take it apart. I don't think there's supposed to be a "supposed to." In other words, I don't think you can really complain about it either way. Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 I don't think this is weird at all, most of my minifigs have this feature. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 I would imagine it is ideal that the head and hat/hair move together as they do on real people, I mean if you turn your head your hair does not stay in the original alignment. (I hope?) Having said that, although it maybe what is desired I have a mixture and as has been said it really depends on the type of plastic and how tight the fit is. So whilst I may want them to turn together they do not always do it. Annoying, but I would not really say it was an issue. Saying that it appears from your question that you want the opposite is that right? Quote
Phoxtane Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Well, I would imagine if all headpieces were tight enough that turning them turned minifig heads, it would be very difficult to remove and attach the headpieces. I prefer it this way, though I imagine that brickfilm creators would disagree! Quote
JackJonespaw Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Sometimes. For most of mine, no, but a few of the older ones that I don't use as often move their hair/headpiece with their head. There's nothing wrong with it. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Hmmm. Some of mine do, some dont, I think its more to do with the plastic, the heat etc.But it is nice when there a bit ''sticky''. Quote
Robominer Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 This isn't much of a problem for me, but it does make it hard to remove the headgear. Quote
