Been working on this for almost 2 months, and big thanks to my wife for helping me taking care of our daughter while i was working on this. Anyway, thanks for viewing and hope you like it! All C&C welcome As much as i like to take all the credit for the roof, it was very much inspired by Legonardo Davidy's creation ~ thanks dude! do check out his creation here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=72560 Let's take a trip back in time, to Japan... Japanese lantern Our Sensei Bamboo bush... Ninja Training... Let's go inside... Samurai statue Choose your weapon The Shrine Some light feature... Need a light? Dual katanas still the best i guess.. well, someone's gotta do the chores around here.. Edited August 22, 2012 by zergu Quote

zergu Posted August 20, 2012 Author Posted August 20, 2012 Nice! I like those lanterns hey thanks Davidy! i just remembered to credit you for inspiring the roof, sorry about missing that out earlier! Cool build! The lanterns are neat and your interior is excellent glad you liked it :D though now, i think the lanterns seem a bit oversized The interior is very great I really like what you did for the front windows. thanks! very fortunate to have those windows that came from 2011 ninjago sets, they are really great pieces. its a pity we see no more of those in 2012 ninjago sets Quote
Bighappysmiles Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Sweet! I love Japanese history and style! sorry, but when I see something Japanese I can see stuff that doesn't really fit or somin, I have studied it for a while. One thing that is disproportionate is the doors, you should make them smaller, they look way too large for a small building like that, howver they would be perfecta on a temple of sorts. Something that people forget often, or don't even know, is that you really don't have to put doors on japanese buildings, most wouldn't. Anyway that is what i have to say! It is a great moc though!
