DoubleT Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 Yes Lava Chamber Gate - 8893 looks like a winner ;-) Quote

WesternOutlaw Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I'm a little surprised that more individuals did not vote for Arkham Asylum, esp. after reading those that couldn't wait for the set to be released. Quote
KimT Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Being a SW fan...Sail Barge gets my vote. But I'd also liked to have voted for mythical creatures - great creatures and even greater set (brickwise). KimT Quote
DoubleT Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 Aint much time left, hurry up and vote if you havent voted... Maybe you dont agree with the favorit.. Quote
Berry Syedow Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I only own the "King's Castle", but I have to say that it was a little underwhelming. The set did provide some nice accessories; many of which I didn't have. I'd vote for the sail barge if it weren't for the fleshies. The only other set that really caught my attention was the "Mythical Creatures". From the reviews and pictures I've gone over it looks great, so this gets my vote. :-P Quote
DoubleT Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 We have a winner... Thanks to all that have voted *y* *sweet* i will Keep this open, so the winner can be dicussed... Quote
alex54 Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I'm so unhappy :'-( I didn't want a licenced set to win... But it's the EB choice, so... Quote
Hobbes Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I'm so unhappy :'-( I didn't want a licenced set to win... I expected it. But the real winner is second anyway ;-) Quote
captaintau Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Yay! Star Wars wins. The Force is with us. Actually, I thought the ISD was better, but hey, I'm only one person. I don't have the crane. Its not my area of interest. But it certainly LOOKS better than the SB. I have to say that I love my SB, though. Please don't misunderstand me when I say this as I'm glad SW won because I love SW but, I wonder if the SB won because of SW-fandom or because it actually is a good set? Next year, maybe have a best set of 2007 (licenced) and best set of 2007 (non-licenced)? Quote
Vaders_son Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Jay!! I'm so happy that the SailBarge won *sweet* And I voted for it because: 1. It sure is a great set 2. It is a great Star Wars set 3. I own it and love it 4. Don't like all of the other sets and none of them as much as the SB I am a Star Wars Fan but this topic was about the best Lego set and not about the best Star Wars set and I know that. But I think if the best set now was a Star Wars set that should be ok for everybody. I do agree with the idea of two votes - one non-licenced and one licenced *y* Anyway as was said - the Force is with us!! SailBarge rocks *wub* *wub* *wub* Vaders_son Quote
