After seeing the mech in the show, I have decided that the Fire Robot should have Fire Swords instead of gold katana as antlers, if you want the sets to look like the show, which Ninjago hasn't been achieving (gigantic cockpits that fit 6 minifigures). Also, Jay's jetpack seems to have been thrown in at the last minute. :hmpf_bad: But I want a Celestial Clock set! :cry_happy:

One set I absolutely will be getting is the Fire Robot. I don't like the Golden Dragon much (I already own the Epic, Lightning, and Fire Dragons, and I like all them way more). The Temple is a bit disappointing, bcuase it looks incomplete.

The Drill looks pretty good too, so I might also get that. in my opinion, these sets all are pretty decent, but there are Ninjago sets that are better.

The temple seems like it'll look much more complete when folded closed. To be honest it's already superior structurally to the Spinjitzu Dojo, and while even folded closed it's nowhere near the artistry of the Fire Temple, it still seems like it'd be quite adequate.

Personally, while I don't like the fact that we won't be getting gold helicopter blades, which would make it fit in with the others and would allow me to make a larger version of it, I rather like the Golden Dragon's unique style.

I agree, the open space right in front could probably use something (at least a few ninja), but when closed, my guess is it will look a lot better.

If it is going to be like the one in the movie, it should certainly have doors in front when it shuts.

Of, course, the problem would be that when it is open, there would be doors on the sides...

I'm saddened that LEGO didn't make the Garmadon figure in the Temple of Light set look more like the Overlord-possesed version from the show. I know, that would have required new parts, but it would have been awesome.

EDIT: It's too bad that the set version only represents this change with a black dragon-visor.

I'm not sorry; the other one looks. . . not cool. However, this has got me thinking that maybe

"Lord Garmadon" in the Temple of Light has a different face. If so, that would be quite a pity!

Why would that be a pity?

Two reasons - I don't like the Overlord's face/eyes, second, I wouldn't be able to build Lord Garmadon (unless I got him somewhere else, of course).

If you're really worried about not getting the classic Lord Garmadon face, it's currently on Pick-A-Brick... (Element ID 4616311, Design ID 94683, 0.25 USD) You might want to get it before it's gone.

Other Ninjago parts available there include the torsos for Lord Garmadon, Kai, Zane, and Cole, the legs for Rattla, Kai, Zane, and Cole, the head for Jay. All of these parts (besides Rattla's, obviously) have the classic 2011 decorations. Neither variant of Lord Garmadon's helmet is available from Pick-A-Brick, nor is the bone from his helmet.

No, I'm not really interested in spending extra for him, just my idea was I could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Guys, can we keep the spoilers here to a tight minimum?

On a side note, when is the voting for Ninja Month going to start?

I wouldn't worry about the voting thread. It may take a while, but I'm sure it will be up eventually.

Anyway, to stay on track, what a pity that the set Garmatron is so different from the show version -

the cannon especially - that's the main part of the entire vehicle!

I don't even think it's called Garmatron in the show, is it? I coul've sworn I've heard it called something else for the show, but I can't remember what it was...

Looks like I messed up on the spoiler - anyway, yes, it is called garmatron in the show -

"I present to you. . . Garmatron!"

But Garmadon is available in several 2012 sets.

That's true, but the least expensive of them is $80, not very cheap. (Destiny's Bounty)

I have it anyways, but I did'nt get it just for Garmadon.

A simple modification, I would definitely suggest Bricklinking a Dark Bley 2x2 barrel before they get to expensive, just to be safe.
