Nachapon Lego Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Not exactly same as the official one that was built in real International Space Station on the orbit. Because can not find building instruction or good photos of it. Maybe the way to display this model on earth is to hang it from ceiling by many strings. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/2320 LDD LXF http://www.legospace...ry/Default.aspx The ldd2povray rendering may looks better if change some parts to chrome or gold colors.(solar-cell plates, cylinders) LEGO iss by Nachapon S., on Flickr ISS International Space Station (copy) by Nachapon S., on Flickr ISS International Space Station by Nachapon S., on Flickr Edited September 25, 2012 by bbqqq Quote
purpleparadox Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Fantastic rendering! You seem to be very skilled at that. I wonder if you could render one or two of my latest MOCs for me? Quote
Nachapon Lego Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) Very realistic! Thanks DLuders, good picture. Maybe 1x1 trans tiles with decor + chrome plates will make better solar panels. Fantastic rendering! You seem to be very skilled at that. I wonder if you could render one or two of my latest MOCs for me? Thanks. I would like to try. Please send them to me or post a link. Edited September 26, 2012 by bbqqq Quote
monsinjor Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Wow! This looks so realistic. Great work! Quote
Calabar Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Looking at the real station in the photo reported by DLuders, it seems it has more modules than the LEGO one! Quote
Shroud Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 That is a wicked Moc and looks even better rendered with the Earth in the background, a lot of the time people just put a picture in the back and don't attempt to blend the moc in. Quote
