It seems to have worked, since when he tries digging again he finds some Scrap Metal. "Very well then. Up to Khand's Peak we go." The heroes gather their belongings, and start a long journey across the high mountains of Dastan with Denerii and Flavius leading them. It is a while before they reach Khand's Peak. Luckily, they are already halfway up, and only the top of the mountain remains. Still, it is a steep climb, and it is not long before even the toughest heroes are out of breath. Flavius and Denerii wait patiently; they are still at full strength thanks to their wings that allow them to simply fly up. It takes many short bursts of hiking and resting before they reach their destination. At last, the heroes find themselves at the giant mouth of a cave, near the top of the mountain as night falls. "Finally here!" "Shh, you'll wake the dragon." Flavius whispered. "Heroes, this is where we leave you to do your job. This is a big cave, but very spacious. Fortunately, no mazes for you. Just walk in and you should be able to find Retraga with no problem. Beware, be safe, and good luck. Come back down to our tribe when your finished. We've already shown you the way, you should be able to make it back easily." "If you don't get eaten... teehee!" The Rito turn and flap their wings, soaring back down. The heroes are left alone to enter the cave. They do, and soon are enveloped in darkness. They feel around as they go deeper into the cave, and consider lighting a torch, but there's no need. Something glowing bright orange can be seen, far into the darkness. The heroes draw closer, and can make out lava flowing down into the cave. A big hulking creature's silhouette can be seen against the glow of the lava, but it is not Retraga. It turns, and attacks the heroes! It's not alone, as several other fiery enemies join the battle. OOC: I am very upset with the treatment of Wally and more importantly the runaways in endgame. They would not break up like that, not to mention they didn't get any lines except for the traitor. And we still have no idea where Asami is from! Now I am left with my twisted head canons for her, which might as well be accurate now! And let's not forget, they won't splinter, they were too close. "If you continue your attack on the Firefly and Mizuki changes target to another one of them we will only get 2 free hits which Harkenshire and me will soak up without problem. That requires De'kra to continue fighting despite being on flames, but maybe he can endure that until we've taken down one more enemy and get some free hands. The cloth crumbled from the warm embrace, as ashes swirling up from the typhon of fire. Wincing, De'kra held back as he crushed Chiara in his hands from the pain. Armor cracked and melted away, and his cloak faded to ash. As everything was tore apart, De'kra's ebony body was exposed. It was a black form, but not entirely opaque. His body was...like a cloud, gaseous although in human form. As his ebony shape burned, there were sparks of light coming from him, alien to the fire. Quote

I think it's better if I remedy William since I'm first in the battle order, I'd like to have me and William who has the best defence first. You could try sealing the golem, it's a good idea that hopefully will make the battle a bit easier. De'kra, hold on just a little longer, we will heal you next round. Try to hit one of the fireflies.
